Now that this expansion is available, would you recommend to any newbie getting the base game and this expansion together and using them from the start, or is it best to play through the base game first and incorporate this expansion later down the line?

@progresspigment9593 Thanks for the message. I was brought on a few months back as the project manager to help get the game to the finish line. I can say that we have made a ton of progress and that backers will get their games. There is no question about that. Our goal is to ship games the first quarter of 2025.

I have a question, if the monster moves and attacks to a place where there are two heroes. In which, one of the hero is the current player's turn's hero. Do they choose the other hero to be attacked or they have to choose themselves instead?
Players choose who is attacked.

Really nice explanation. Have a question though. When you killed the green enemy with the spare dagger. Isn´t it a ranged weapon, so you should have disadvantage when you stand close? And the blue enemy havent ranged so have to move close to be able to attack you (the turn before green was killed)?

Por lo que he visto en el vídeo solo os colocasteis en un punto de creación y automáticamente elegís la carta que queréis crear de entre todas las que hay? No es necesario conseguir la carta de alguna manera antes? Está parte no la entendí muy bien, pero leí en el manual que el grupo iba adquiriendo las partes (cartas sin construir) por las localizaciones por las que pasaban, lo que me daba a entender que era necesario encontrarlas antes de crearlas. Pero no vi en ningún sitio como se encuentran. En las cajas creo que no ya que al buscar ya encuentras una carta de objetos usable. No sé si podríais aclararme la duda. Gracias.
Question...at 35:12, you moved the Evomorph 3 spaces from the Mess Hall, to the Bridge, to the Storage, then into the Furnace room with you, but weren't those maintenance shafts in between the mess hall to the bridge and then bridge to storage? In the rules, it says 'IMPORTANT: Enemies can NEVER travel through Maintenance Shafts, even ones that have been activated!' I think it should have moved from the Mess Hall to the Trash Compactor south to the Junction and the space below that.
We get it dude, you don't like the change that doesn't change game mechanics at all but is inclusive of more players. I came here to learn how to play a game, not for passive aggressive commentary.
There is 1 card. With 4 colors both to the player that playd it and on the "other" players spot. Do the other player get 1 of each aswell? There is no line as other cards have
One thing we found the rulebook to be unclear on is how grunts work. We had four human players. Each human was given a random character. We then each took one "grunt". This seemed fair to us, but reading the rules suggests we did this wrong. It seemed that the marine ranks somehow came into it. We inferred that no-one could play Ripley because she wasn't a marine and therefore couldn't have a grunt of her own to command, but if her marine was killed her card would be flipped... It was all a bit of a mess, anyway.
Great video. Really clear instructions and your examples demonstrated most of the key situations players can find themselves in. One thing the rulebook is really unclear on is what happens when an alien blip is spotted on the characters' turn. I wish we had watched your video properly before playing - we had the aliens being spotted, resolving into swarms, moving up the six spaces and attacking, which was a little difficult!
When you spot it on a players turn you will flip the token and replace it with the alien model and any tokens based on the number on the bottom of the token.
I was looking for this, especially the first turns and those are the once you skipped :-(
Just gave it a go with your playthrough vid as a way to learn to play. Good explanations! There are only a few elements I wasn’t certain of: 1) When I use top action + bottom action of my 2 cards, do both get flipped to B side (or discarded if already on B side), or does only the top action card? 2) Related to the lines between effects that separate them on the top actions or bottom actions of cards - are those an “and” or an “or” ? Aka do I get to do both, or must I choose one? Thanks man!
