The thing about Trinity having the same powers as Neo was established in Matrix 3 and is one of the few things that isn't bullshit in this movie. Its not just "lets make a girl fly this time in the name of feminism"

I was 16 when the original Matrix came out and it took me completely by surprise. I thought it was just another action movie going in but it blew my mind when it was revealed that the world was a program etc. The way it weaves in religion, politics, philosophy, science fiction, martial arts and those innovative special effects! And might I remind some of the younger fans out there that this movie was the first to have mainstream actors believably pulling off awesome and complex martial arts fight scenes! I would also recommend The Animatrix for some good spin off material.

Speaking of horror. I wish we got more reverse horror games for console and even PC. My favourite was Carrion, the art style and the feeling of being a Giant flesh monster make it scary but awesome at the same time. I know reverse horror games aren't beyond popular but still.

Didn’t talk about the one thing that the two of the three modern controllers have, gyroscopes and motion detection It’s early existence comes from the zappers as everyone knows There was some dude in the early 00s who was going on about some gyroscopic tech (I honestly don’t remember the full story as to him) and had a sort of partnership with Nintendo (I believe) but the tech was too expensive and they went their separate ways. Nintendo, still about it went on to use IR to track the early Wii mote via its sensor With another certain someone, Sony, went onto with the PS3 release the six axis controller which as far as I understand it’s not a the typical gyroscope we know today but I could be wrong either way moving forward they have included that in every controller. I don’t know as to the story of that but that’s where Sony stepped into that territory Why this matters is because it’s heavily underutilized and a big factor as to that is the third controller, the Xbox controller. And no it’s not that it’s useless or bad but rather it gets misused this is similar to the touchpad on the PS4/5 altho more and more we’re seeing better use with these two Also pressure sensitive buttons were a thing on the PS3 they dropped them with the PS4

Chris punching the boulder in re5 actually makes a lot or sense if you stop and think about it for a few seconds. Hes not trying to demolish it with his bare fists lol. Its a result of his adrenaline and built up aggression for wesker. I mean dudes arch nenemsis turns into a monster and is seconds away from killing his partner (after he already "lost" one partner). Youre telling me, if that was you, theres a zero percent chance you would punch the boulder out of desperation and anger? Lol

The point, missed by most everyone blinded by the tech like in the elevator scene, is that AI makes garbage. Cut rate shite. The modal making copies of the original is always slightly off and dramatically worse than an artists passion creation. It's showing how destructive capitalism is. Folks are superficial and incapable of understanding. Fools earn their demise. The answers are out there, but can you ask the right questions.

Emulation and preservation are pretty strong arguments for piracy. Preservation even applies to movies and TV shows (RIP infinity train.) But what's the argument for non-game-related software? e.g. the Adobe suite Like, we can point out that it's egregiously overpriced but I don't know if that's an effective ethical argument. If I produce software and only want to allow certain people to access it, I might feel wronged if people find a way to get their hands on it anyway. I don't HAVE to allow anyone to use it, right?

I would say that copyright infringement is morally wrong, however I do think the punishment should fit the crime. Giving someone 10 years and a felony from making a few $100 when the company is worth billions. Like yeah, they broke the law, so give a fine that makes the money made both worth it, and give them a misdemeanor. I think the punishment should be way worse when it’s soemthing like a small company just getting started and another comes and copies their product and significantly hurts the business that’s a different situation.

Awesome video and a very valid theory, my man. That fake conversation with Hugo Weaving was hilarious lol. p.s. I just a few days ago saw The Matrix in the theater again because they put it there for a few days thanks to this being its 25th year anniversary. Man, it took me back to when I went to see it in the theater back in 1998. What an amazing masterpiece Matrix 1 is, I really don't think a better movie can be made. The effects were incredible back then, the art style, the musical touches that augment the scenes, the fight choreography, and most of all, the social themes, which are its most important legacy. What a fkn work of art!!

21:50 not a game studio but i know the reason sega stopped making consoles was literally because dreamcast games were so easy to pirate with literally no anti piracy measures that noone bought official dreamcast game copies and sega and all the studios that made games on the dreamcast went out of bussiness. so your kinda wrong but i get your point

If you buy a game a cant play it 10 years later because of some greedy licensing deal that has expired, did you even ever own the game or did you just lease it for 10 years. You dont own digital games, you have the right to play them untill the company thinks it has been enough.

as an adult , I'm finding it harder and harder to watch anime because of fan service. I get that not all of it is bad, but when your putting underage kids into sexual situations I feel like a creep watching it. The WORST offender in this is HIGHSCHOOL of the dead. It just makes me feel gross watching a bullet fly between shaking anime titties that are very specifically underage. I don't care how empowering Kill La Kill may seem, it's still high school kids wearing almost nothing on purpose.

But do you do anything against it? At least try-wise? I mean, youtube ha s reportbutton, duh. You can just type into 'Girl Boob TIts' or ANYTHINGGGG related to the anime '100 girlfriends', its ALL disgusting without excpetion. That anime is the end of decency - and im no prude for saying so. So no matter how small the chance for it actually being removed is, how aobut we try?

I was hoping maybe you'd talk about what in my mind was the terrible decision by the PS designer to make the Circle and Square similar colors. On a small TV like the one that I used to play my PS2 in my dorm room right after the turn of the millennium, the shapes of the circle and square were too similar if you didn't have the other one to reference, and similarly the colors were too similar when you only could see how one was displayed on the screen. There's no problem with my color vision, but there can be problems with how TVs render colors compared to the colors on the controller. Even today, I can see obvious differences in coloration on an image used as the background on my work computer, where each of my monitors is fed with a different type of signal.

Instead of companies trying to change their game every time a sequel comes out why don’t they make a new game instead. They can make the story with the mechanics they want or trendy but still keep it original like how old school rockstar games did. Comparing the play styles of the games is hard but you will know the game company just by the esthetic. I feel that’s what a lot of modern games are missing now of days.

I loved it! A treatise on the perils of nostalgia and the need to let go of known tropes. I was laughing the whole time. And it spoke to me just like the first one did in 1999 but instead of me being 9 and wowed by its perfection, I was 33 and stuck in Neo’s dead end job and frustrated with how much nostalgia heroin saturates our modern world of media. it was brilliant. Fuck nostalgia, Fuck franchises. Be original :)
