I just recently bought a 2017 Chevy Tahoe premier with 97,000 miles on it. It seems to be a great truck so far I had a older one 2009 and that was pretty good too.

Idiot! You could have been so much more in your life. Good thing is you're actually learning the right way. But my advice is don't be a mechanic. Take it from an ASE Chrysler Master technician. Warranty will screw you badly. The more you know it's like a punishment.

Thanks for your concern but no load revving does not hurt anything. If anything, there is far less stress on the internal mechanical components when the engine doesn't have to "work" to move those components.

160k on my maroon 2017 Tahoe LT. Sometimes I wish I’d got the LTZ but this one still looks, rides, and drives great. No issues w 6-speed transmission so far - but I am not very hard on it either. I rarely tow more than 5500lb and I accelerate pretty conservatively.

The picture on your dash, you should scan and save it digitally and put it as a wallpaper on the radio. So you would not need that picture over there anymore. It would be shown on the background on the radio.

Is it safe to run power on the main fuse box? I want to run 0 gauge but idk if I should hook it up there or to the battery

If you are gonna run 0 gauge, go straight to the battery. Running it to the fuse box, the power wire goiñg to that fuse box is way smaller than the 0 gauge you plan to use.

You could’ve done this without pulling the radio, just saying. Idk if it would be easier or not, but at least you wouldn’t be dealing with the sensitive electronics. Since you’re using that LC2i adapter you can go right off the rear door speakers

Taking out the door seems alot more work than pulling out the climate controller and then 2 bolts for the radio.

Just FYI, Metra/Axxess now makes a plug in kit to get line level outputs so no radio splicing/cutting required, its plug and play. Axxess AXLOC-HN3, works with this gen CRV as long as you don't have the factory sub. Also includes remote gain/bass knob.

Thanks for posting this review. I recently found a 2016 Tahoe LT that I'm probably going to purchase. I don't have a family to haul around. I just like the roominess of a large SUV. Fifteen years ago, I had a 2005 Tahoe. Never had any mechanical issues with it. Time for a new one. Well, new to me.

I'm considering one, but how does it handle? I had a 99 4WD Tahoe that floated with lots of body lean in curves. Steering also was not very precise. Could you comment on the handling and the braking feel?
