I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful son. Unfortunately his death is exactly like my brothers death three years ago as he died taking what he thought was Zanex and it turned out to be laced with a fentanyl. My parents lives will never be the same as I know yours will not either. My parents like you will have a hole in their hearts forever. Sending love your way and again so sorry for your loss.

My husband was murdered in 2018 by given two Vicodin laced with Fentanyl. He was alone and trusted the man who gave them to him. He took them to help his back pain. He was working out of state while I stayed behind because of my doctors. When he was found it was too late. I don’t know who the man was that gave it to him. But I do know the man who made the drugs is in jail. So f#$&@ing horrendous! He was only 43

I can't imagine your suffering, but I hear it in your voice. My question is, why did he take the Xanax in the first place, and where did he get it? My understanding is that the Xanax that my daughter and I take is safe because it is prescribed by our family doctor and we get it through our pharmacy. The fentanyl laced pills come from street sales or online sales.

In Europe I never heard of xanax and about panic attacks and anxiety disorders as a wide spread problem. Of course some people have it, but ist is not wide spread in the population."The prevalence of anxiety disorders and panic attacks in Europe varies by country, data source, and measurement method. However, according to the World Health Organization, there were about 36 million people in the European Region with anxiety disorders in 2018, representing 4.1% of the population. Anxiety disorders include general anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, specific phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder. In different European countries, the prevalence of anxiety disorders and panic attacks may vary depending on cultural, social, economic and other factors. For example, according to the 2020 survey, the highest percentage of people suffering from anxiety was recorded in France (21%), and the lowest in Lithuania (3%). The highest percentage of people suffering from depression was recorded in the UK (30%), and the lowest - in the Czech Republic (6%). The highest percentage of people experiencing stress was recorded in Ireland (60%), and the lowest - in Luxembourg (28%)." VS. "Anxiety disorders are the most common mental health disorders in the US, affecting 27.3% of American adults."

its an old, sad story. its prohibition. most of us sometimes likes to het high. so you habe to play russian roulette with the black market. we as a society mist find a way to deal with this facts. that doesnt mean, things like xanax should be available everytime for everybody but we need to find a way that ADULTS! get clean stuff. Prohibition has failed.

...a woman who takes an epidural during birth is unaware of that the medication she is receiving contains fentanyl. Babies born with epidural tend to have more of a chance to develop a drug addiction and babies have a hard time being breast fed (because they're drugged)

This is sad/ tragic. He is such a handsome, lively young man. Young adults seem to take drugs these day and you just wonder how it start. Kids need to be reminded that it’s addictive and difficult to stop which leads to illnesses, homelessness, joblessness,… then the roulette effect that it could be deadly. Sorry for your loss. Hope you heal soon.

Well.... here is my nephews testimony, and it's beyond insane.... I lost my nephew on 3/18/22 due to Fentanyl and he wasn't a heavy user or used at all, until he moved in with his roommate and the roommates friends and roommate all showed him how to do these Drugs. As suspicious as the Death seems, the Autopsy and Report was labeled an accidental overdose. I even met his Roommate and everything, and everything was OK and seemed fine. These people nowadays who can be on so many different drugs, as crazy as this sounds, can hide it better than anyone. He wasn't falling over, no slurred speech, nothing crazy with the eyes, nothing. My nephew isn't totally innocent with respect, he knew not to do drugs and never did when he was with our family but it started a little after he moved in with his roommate. First was weed, then alcohol, then DXM followed by what he thought was a Perc but was Fentanyl that killed him, meanwhile the roommate did next to nothing. He didn't visit him in the hospital, never called us to see how he was doing, but he did Steal my nephews Bank Card to go to an ATM to withdraw Money to guess what? Buy more Drugs. The Roommate and my Nephew were best friends, yet the roommate was so Drugged out of his mind, he didn't care, or feel anything. My Nephew was Age 18, the Roommate was 19. My Nephew could have even been murdered by the idiot roommate and his friends fooling around for all I know, None the matter, the result of his Death was the worst thing I've ever been through and hurts nearly 16 months later and will always hurt until I'm dead. Please trust me honestly in Jesus name when I say this, I've done everything possible, and the way everything is handled IS SICK NOW. EVEN WITH EVIDENCE, PHOTOS, VIDEOS, ETC THE COPS DID NOTHING! The roommate and family disappeared, changed numbers, but not after I got all the info from the roommate, and recorded it in an audio message along with video proof of the apartment. We talked to a retired detective In which he was able to pull the footage from the paramedics and cops body camera, in which the roommate was drugged out of his mind laughing at my nephew while he is dying and losing oxygen from fentanyl in which my nephew took the Pill at 9pm, and paramedics were not on scene until 4am. By this time from what the Neurologist said, his Brain was completely destroyed and was declared Brain Dead. The Horror of this was so much, that the Neurologist of 17 years ran out of the room screaming, left work to go to School to pick up her 17 year old son to spend the day with him. This reality even hit her, and that the subject (My Nephew) was not a hardcore drug user. This fact hit her to the Core and caused for a small moment in time, a Mental Breakdown for her. And here it is, no closure, no communication from the Family and the Roommate, it is as if they never existed, and it's as if my nephew never existed. None of his friends got ahold of me, no Playstation messages, nothing. It's as if he was a Ghost and never existed. So much for "Friends". The end of A Bronx Tale said it best in the movie: "Nobody Cares.....Nobody Cares..." Truer words have never been spoken. Please, stay away from all drugs if you can. You never know what is laced with this Fentanyl Garbage, and you never think it will be you to die.... until it is you. I'm on Anti Depressants for the first time ever in my life, and have seeked Professional help in dealing with all of this. My Nephew was like a Little Brother to me, and we hung out a lot and even he showed no signs of being on anything. All of this is absolutely insane, God forbid this happens to you. Part of me wants to hunt the Family down and Kill them, or at least hold them Hostage to get answers but, unfortunately that won't solve anything. Just being real, apart of me wants to do that, but it won't bring my nephew back. All I can do is warn people, that's all I can do now, for those who will listen.

This video came up on my feed today. How do they know I lost my son in 2020 as well from fentanyl. Mama I cried hearing this again it just brought up the tears. I belong to a group helping parents heal on Facebook and that was a great help to me.
