Our mission is to drive positive change through the power of entertainment. Since we first set up shop in 1985, we've been doing three main things...
- We raise millions of pounds through two big fundraising campaigns -- Red Nose Day and Sport Relief.
- We spend that money in the best possible way to tackle the root causes of poverty and social injustice.
- We use the power of our brand to raise awareness of the issues that we care most about.
Over the years we've inspired a lot of people who don't normally 'do' charity to, well, do charity. The support we've had from so many friends has always blown us away -- and still does today.

Now if your going to settle in the Philippines and build a house close to a major fault line one thing you should not do is have water supply or drainage pipe running through the centre of your home. If you have an earthquake or a blockage in the pipes they are going to raise up inside your home. Philipino builders and architects do not feel the need to put this type of plumbing more than a few inches under the surface. Now if you have the misfortune of suffering one of these malfunctions which ruins your floor it's downright stupid to simply repair the pipework and relay a new floor over the repaired pipework. Sooner or later it's going to block again or an earth tremor is going to crack it and your back to square one. It's far better and easier to run any new pipework around the boundary of your house to your main drain or septic tank. If it goes again no damage to the inside of your house and it's easy to locate the leak and repair it., simple sense
