  It’s hard to remember Rotherham like this but I have fond memories of going via Rotherham interchange to see my Nan and Grandad who lived in Brinsworth. Happy times.

  I lived and studied in Coventry. And I took the number 18/18A OR 33 bus to the football on a Saturday between 2003-05. Great memories.

  In the footage from about 3:25 to 4:52 at Alexandra Palace the bus (DMS199?) looks very clean with Daimler front wheel trims shining, quite unusual. When was that taken?

  By Jove, I would have been twenty nine back then. The old Orange Chase Buses and West Midlands Travel I recall very well. Shame about the new bus station - I preferred the old one!

  Sierra Police Car has a very loud siren, Hastings had a lot of coaches from France in the 1980s as a result of students staying over to study English, I just love Sussex full stop.

  Pity that Eastbourne don’t still paint their vehicles in the Duke of Devonshire’s colours. The blue and yellow looked so smart when I photographed them in the 1960s.
