One of the best crime/ drama movie...Good song for the dancing scene ...Character actor John Larch as the detective talking to the first witness before he was shot by the sniper...
Excellent film. The writing is brilliant. As is the Acting by Anne Sheridan and Gary Cooper ( especially Sheridan)
When I saw this I immediatly thought this was made by AI until I saw the runtime and thought no way lol.. Looking forward to watching this sometime :)
Thanks for the history lesson about Monogram/Republic/ AlliedArtists. 👍👍👍
Sir Cedric Hardwicke gave a great performance. I'm glad there was no miscarriage of justice, because the entire case was built on only circumstantial evidence, the flimsiest evidence there is.
Wow great movie
this is more believable than the other movie i saw with neil armstrong and buzz aldrien. better actors too
Love Ms Ginger Rogers! Some great one liners! A real pro❤️
Brad Fiedel always makes dark soundtracks.
Love the montages at 45:44 and 52:19!
Now Hungry is blessed with a wise leader like Viktor Orban whose leadership and his country are a light to the free world.
I thought I’ve seen every movie with Henry Fonda and Maureen O Hara. What a great find and I really enjoyed it
They called it Santa Rosa in the movie, though that city is not on the coast, not Laguna Beach.
Classic, sad one but classic. (80 years ago today, D-Day. June 6th, 2024). Thank God for that generation.
Rosalind Russell's voice is remarkably similar to Gypsy's, she was the perfect choice to portray her.
Anthony played that so well. It's almost creepy. It's almost as if he conjured up his spirit.
🤠🐴Thank you 🐴🤠 Good western movie 🥰👍
I love this movie. It's a shame all they make now is trash
Really enjoyed that, no blood, no guts and a happy ending, 😊
Love the old movie ❤
Class film
👍
Great movie, thanks!!
Seems pointless mostly boring
Ini baru hot
$18,000,000 budget - 17,990,000 spent on the cast - the rest on special effects.
i remember my late grandma told us they were scared whenever the japanese soldiers marching through their village, the sound of their heavy boots still linger in her ears.. But she said, the japanese officers were kind and polite to them, especially to children. unlike korean foot soldiers.
One punch wonders. 👊 🥊
Much obliged.
Borgnine and Walter Pigeon were well past their prime back then. I guess they would take what work they could get. Mimieux worked for a while. All she had to do was look good, which she did. The movie is a big yawn.
Again, your extended review and synopsis is superb. Neglected film of historical and political value. BRAVISSIMO. Ab imo pectore. Jolly good show. Biglier
Your detailed review is perfect. A Korda, Tandy, Ceddie Hardwicke....wow. Well done. Your other films are not always the best, but copyright laws exist and "toute cette sorte de choses", as the protoBrits say in ASTERIX EN BRETAGNE. Bravissim. 'Ab imo pectore'. As the roman soldiers say in same series.
I cant stand stupid lazy people...only fools allow writers to manipulate them...only stupod fools allow stupid fools to blackmail them...this is a wretched story of good for nothing people...
Their accents are off.
Another fantastic upload by you guys. This was a first for me, I hadn't even heard of this little gem! Ty
I remember seeing a review from late critics Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert of At the Movies pertaining to COTC. At one stage, Siskel had said he wanted to walk out the theatre around the second half of the film, that he thought it was one of the worst films of 1984. Ebert equally hated the film, except he thought it was setting a bad example of children in society due to violence on screen. As much as I strongly disagreed with their reviews on a mini-major horror film, I still think they earned wonderful reputations with the films they had reviewed, up until Siskel's death in 1999.
Rover blake garrets❤😂🎉😢😮
Great movie thanks
What a pleasantly pleasant film to watch.🎉 bit of a time capsule of a era long gone. The cars, streets, dress, mannerism, and shops. Really enjoyed watching this.
What a surprise! Wow!
Fast moving. William Campbell plays it to the hilt.
Gene Tierney was always considered one of the great Hollywood beauties along with all the other A-listers like Hayworth, Gardner, Taylor, Kelly, and many more.🎉
It’s Vida from Mildred Pierce lol
Los mejicanos son los malos y los americanos inocentes y buenos como angelitos , 😂😂😂😂
rhat was fun, thank you!!!
NEVER SEEN THIS FILM BUT SOME CLASSIC ACTORS STILL MAD UP THE CAST - IN THIS INTERESTING AND ENJOYABLE ADVENTURE MOVIE SO ANYONE ELSE COMING ACROSS IT PULL UP YOUR CHAIR AND ENJOY THE FILM
Great movie never ever seen it
Hopkins is a great actor; but A) Anything made in English that has no origin in English sounds always silly and B) I don't think I'll ever watch anyone portraying Hitler other than Bruno Ganz - that was simply it.
Our rural family would go to the local drive in theater maybe once firing the summer but my dad took me to see this in the real indoor theater when it opened. I was about 10 years old and it is a treasured memory. Between the old TV show Sea Hunt (someone was always drowning) and this movie, my youthful self knew the Navy was not going to be my branch of service.
Very well acted.
