  Not mentioning the horrific cost of repair of the car if anything happens to you. I hit the back of a Tesla with a trailer haul, it did a poc the size of a hand. I did some pocs this size on another car many years before, it costed around 250$ to repair the poc and put it back as normal. I went to the Tesla garage to do the repair. I expected 400-800$ given Teslas usually charge more for everything. The esimate came: 2,000$ + taxes. Aouch. But it did not stop there Once we gave the car to the Tesla repair center, a few days later, they call us back, pretending the boot do not close properly because of the poc, and the boot needs to be entirely replaced. We used the car for weeks and we can confirm this was not true, but the garage would not repair it unless we accept the new cost. On top of the 2,000$, they wanted to charge us another 2,000$ for the price of the boot part, plus associated work hours to repair it (they did not tell us how much). This was already a 4,000$ + work hours to replace the boot + tx bill. My entire car, an old Mazda 3 2012 that have 120,000km and still run like a charm cost less than this repair!!!!!!! Saying Tesla cost less than other cars is just an excuse people give themselves to buy this luxury, cash-grab car. Hertz (the rental company) is feeling the heat having bought thousands of them thinking it would be cheaper to operate, and now they are into big financial trouble, and selling all of their Tesla, because they realize it is the exact opposite and even such a big company is getting f*cked because of the exorbitant maintenance and repair cost.
