  When you compete in swimming do you overtake competitors within their lane? That was what you did here multiple times. Motorcyclists doing that are a pet peeve of drivers. You don't give a shit about passing vehicles in the same lane, then you want to bitch about drivers claiming back their own lane?   Actually anyone can help to press the intercom. Once press the intercom someone will check the CCTV saw there is a emergency AMB they will surely open the barrier for the amb at the exit barrier no need to go the enter one since there is so many car over there. Last time I work carpark barrier , I normally do that for what ever emergency come I open for them at the exit side.

  The LTA should commission a study into the psychology of impatient drivers! Seriously if an ambulance was in slow traffic, the cyclist(s) would hear it sirens and pull over! What an obscure and useless argument. And by the way I have never ever seen a car give way to an ambulance in SG - go take a look at how drivers in the UK pull over on both sides to allow an ambulance to drive all the way up the middle.
