  Minnows about 5 feet from the shore with split shot work best there giant stripers walleye cats and musky never had a bad day out there

  Been fishing there since i was little and my old man has been fishing there since he was little back when it was collins lake the bridge is great but if u walk past the out house to your left past the bridge for about half a football field and fish on the right its amazing its our favorite spot we moved to texas back in 2020 i miss that lake always did great at that spot

  This is called the Ned rig you’ll need special jig head for it alone with the plastic. If you are new and want to chuck something around in a river I would highly recommend the beetle spin. It’s cheap, so you won’t be losing tons of money when you get snagged and it catches fish!

  What do you want to catch there and what are you using? Been there a few times on my boat...was easy to catch stripes,walleye and smallmouth...my girl caught a 5# largemouth and I just gave her something to keep her busy while I did my thing😂
