Just fly it stock on 5s. Fan and ESC hold up fine and it performs much better.

I have spectrum g2 batteries and new chargers it’s not cheap.. but the batteries have just one cable no balance lead .. and when plugged in the charger does the work for you and counts down when the g2 smart battery is done charging.. the batteries also self discharge..it’s not perfect.. but the rc world need to get safer

Why did you glue the spar into the lower wing???

The instructions are nothing more than an exploded diagram. They do show little glue bottles near the wing assembly. It's been a long time since I built this but I believe that was the reason. I also don't need to disassemble the model to transport it.

I just picked this ARF up from a guy that got it from an estate sale. Like brand-new condition, and I need some help understanding the stupid picture paperwork since there is no build manual for it. Any help locating a build video for this Green Models 86" version would be a BIG HELP! I'm sure someone has found some improvements on the build as well. Gary

The nose gear seems to be missing a smal screw that shuld prevent the axle from turning wildly not responding to the steering, but not so tight to prevent the suspension from working properly.

Little anecdot about the Hawker Tempest , at the end of the second world war when Adolf Galland surrender with is own Messerschmitt 262. to British landing on a airfield in allied occupy territory the only bird he was interrested to see from close and know more about it was the Hawker tempest , even sit in the cockpit of a free french aces telling him the Tempest was is favorit allied fighter

Hi , I know this is a old video about a old dynam rc bird kit out from many years , but i notice in all the bunch of rc youtuber i fallow over the years really few actualy know about the history and the true specification of those warbird and it truly appreciated seeing someone who at lease know whats it talking about not only in rc but also in history and the true warbird technical specification.... Way more cool then watching someone supposely rc experpten putting invasion strip to a spitfire mk Vb after painting it in battle of britain brown and green color sheme

You are familiar with the Detrum Gavin 6C (and perhaps the 8C?). Do you know what the USB port on the back of the 8C radios are for? I have yet to find an answer? The 8C description claims "USB Upgradable!" I can't find any information anywhere, not even emails to Dynam. Have you ever attempted firmware upgrades on the 8C?

I have a video on firmware upgrade for one of the Gavin radios. Don't remember which. I recall one of the programmable functions on a Gavin receiver uses that port, too. Hope this helps.

CAUTION: Acetone WILL eat/soften the EPO foam if the surface it broken. In the above video, there was no sanding peformed so the acetone removed paint without damaging the foam. If there are any cuts, nicks or if you have sanded the foam DO NOT USE ACETONE it WILL EAT/MELT your precious model. NOTE also that this is a "newer" EPO foam. If you put acetone anywhere near an older EPP foam plane, the plane will disintegrate into a pile of molten mess right in front of your eyes !! Cheers.

Exactly, Acetone should be tested somewhere INSIDE where you don't see it. Same with any kind of colour you are using. Had some ugly surprises allready.

@@johannesgoetzen I think we're talking about the DW Storch kit, It seems too heavily wing loaded to do scale-like STOL flying. It will fly OK, but not very gracefully.

I think that the snap together laser cut structure is too heavy compared to a traditional balsa/ply "stick-model" structure built light. Makes a nice looking model though.

Absolute typical Dynam rubbish, bought Dynam PT 17 last week, parts missing, incorrect parts supplied, badly fitting parts. Be prepared to use your own stock of screws, bolts, nuts, wing spar, the list goes on and on!. Been building model aircraft for 25 years , so not a novice!.

Great video, but why didn't you wire the lights? I just picked up the same plane at a swap meet. NEW IN THE BOX. There are no directions for wiring the lights?? How do they get connected? Than k you.

Are these stabilizers meant for foamies/park flyers or will it work on large glow powered planes? Will the vibrations from gas powered plane mess with the stabilizer? Thanks

Most gyros will work on electric and IC engines. It may take a bit longer to dail in the gyro due to more vibration in IC engine. Gyro needs firm mounting to sense flight forces but not so firm to be in constant motion due to vibrations.

The camera outputs a video file you edit as you desire and upload to KZread, so yes. Since reviewing this camera, there are probably some other Campark cameras and other brands that do a better job than this model.

Video was good but I must have an older model because your model has the servo leads in the wings already and mine doesn't, have to tape and fish the leads through a 90 degree opening to get the leads where they need to be, not easy at all.

I love mine but the wheels that come with it are a complete joke...Picture a Black Hard Foam Donut x 3 i used the tires off my Durafly Slow Poke and they works nicely

Bought one of these for safe charging and one XXL variant for storage of all my LiPos from 3 drones. The XXL is safe for over 600Wh battery capacity. In addition I put fireproof mats (for BBQ grills) under both Bat-Safes because there are videos showing that the lid might lift a bit for a moment when a LiPo explodes and there may be some sparks coming out of the gap. Those mats are cheap and may be an additional safety net.
