No season 7 is 16 episodes (8 now, 8 in 2024) , season 8 is 10 episodes.
For S6, it's 8 in 2023 then the remaining 8 in 2024. Then S8 will be 10 episodes.

I think Starz really sucks for not showing all 16 episodes this year. After Outlander is over, I will never subscribe to Starz again.

They cant show them all this year. The 2nd 8 are still in post production , which takes months. They only finished filming in February of this year. If they did all 16 in one go, you would not be seeing anything at all until 2024.

Hate to complain, but the acoustics are awful. Even with CC, it’s hard to understand. And why is the camera aimed at the right side of their faces and so far away! Really disappointed!

I agree! I am also truly disappointed that Outlander will not run longer than 8 eight episodes (in this show). Also, I cannot understand why the sound is not clearer on some of these on stage gatherings. I have to strain to hear what is being said…
sounds as though it was recorded in the audience. After the first episode drops on friday .you will get the official starz one, which would have been professionally recorded. I will wait for that one.
Season 7 will be 16 episodes but after the 8th episode there will be a break. The second half of season 7 will air in 2024. Season 1 did the same thing. It’s probably just as well that it’s spaced out because the writers strike is delaying everything anyway.
I believe they are spacing it out so you have to pay for the Starz app!!!!
There are only 8 episodes as they were filming until Feb of this year. 2 options. Do pre production for all 16 , and have them start dropping sometime in 2024, when post production is finished for all of them. Or release first 8 now, carry on post production for those that were filming into this year., for them to drop next year. Which ones do you want? All in 2024 or as they are doing it.
I don’t know I do see a certain sadness these last couple of days maybe just super tired. professionally something going on we don’t know about really ,😮 Richard and Sophie don’t look too happy either.
