Bobblehead Homestead

Bobblehead Homestead

Formerly known as Groovy Eggs Farm
I now have 6.87 acres of raw land with electric and water access and I'm going to be developing the property to place my shed to house, move my chickens and cats, get dogs, and build a homestead with the income from my chicken enterprise called Groovy Eggs Farm. I've been in Arkansas since 10/2017 and this will be my third property and most likely my last property. This is a decade plus long dream come true to have this much land to make my own and earn a living from.
THANK YOU to everyone who has been helping all along the way! There is no way I could have come this far without the kindness of the KZread community.

I agree Justin Rhoades is a favorite of mine too. A good majority of the Permaculture concept came from Joel Saladin. He is a pioneer and huge contributor to the movement

The bulldozer you will end up with piles of brush you have to burn and bare dirt that can errode, so it's less money, but there are trade-offs.

Please tell your sister hello, and that I would sure love to get together with her for coffee sometime. I just missed her a few years ago at the get together here in Jacksonville with Prepstedder Bob. His get together was the same night as my brother's wedding.

I know this is over a year old but, we have had no problem with taking down trees well over 6” the amount of hand labor or mess to deal with after a dozer is well worth the production amount a mulcher on a skid can do. The amount of land that is clearable in a day is very dependent on what your clearing, piles usually take an extra skid and a lot more time when it’s already on the ground vs. standing brush. It’s expensive no matter how you look at it maybe. Usually it ends up being more going the cheapest route

Take us for a drive, Jeff! My Dad used to take us for a drive on Sundays. Just to drive around in the country. Of course, my bro and I mostly died of boredom in the backseat. 😊 I remember all the beautiful colored eggs you would show us. A 🌈 of colors.

Jeff says this all with 6K views on a 24 minute video which equals nearly 3000 watch hours. You only need 1000 subs and 4000 watch hours to even get paid. He did this in just 1 day.......lol

Thank you for explaining the second channel thing. Personally, I don’t watch the all talk videos and I don’t understand even at a lower ad revenue rate, they still have to produce the content. Kudos to those who watch the talk videos but man the talk video explains what they are doing and then the action video explains what they are doing, most times what they are doing ain’t all that complicated/fascinating. Lol. Don’t get me wrong, I DO support the main channels but jeeze Louise it’s getting a bit inbred ‘round here, 5 channels covering one event while I understand each is catering to their viewers honestly if I regularly watch those 5 channels I will pick only one to watch the event. Jeff, you are the OG for me. You and Drew.

I remember when your sister came to visit you and help with the garage sale at the old, old place... Always good to get to spend time with family, and being she lives in another state I know you don't get to visit that often in person. All that rain has moved up here into MO into the foothills of the Ozarks...

Praying for your success.. I view you as a core person in the group of folks I watch. I don't remember the first time I watched the chicken show.. with a description of all the different colored eggs.. Meant nothing to me in my big city life, but I saw a man who was fighting the good fight. You never professed to be something you weren't.. you were the chicken guy trying to survive. My point is that 3 years (approximately) later I'm still watching.. 2 moves, Rock hell, cabin redo, land clearing, and a LOT of stress.. But also a LOT of friends and blessings, so just sending positive vibes to see your glass is still half full.

The biggest mistake they made in vehicles was when they removed the gauges and replaced them with lights. With the light, you usually know you have that problem before the light tells you. Your explanation about the KZread payout makes sense. If you owned a business and were going to Ad agencies to get ads made you would pay a lot more for a Gang Buster ad than you would for a mediocre to bad one. God Bless from your Canadian Friend.

Go ahead and teach, Jeff. Cuz that's what you do. You are a TEACHER! I'll watch, this channel, other channel. We're good! 🇨🇦
