  I love the sledge. I got one in march this year. It works for me bc I wanted something rugged that hauls ass off road. So for me someone who isn’t jumping it 30ft and doing triple backflips, it’s perfect

  I agree the Sledge is fast, I only run mine on 4s and it’s plainly of power. I think the Sledge is a really fun basher but for the people that are really bashing the heck out of the truck throwing it 30ft up in air… yeah that’s when you will run into problems no matter what RC your using lol

  Only way ill recommend a sledge is if your gonna gut the car with aftermarket parts . In its final form after upgrading , thats where it becomes a beast . Out of the box , the new kraton 6s exb v2 is a way better bang fpr your buck . Enjoy your toy

  I think the Sledge is perfect right out of the box, I know Traxxas electronics are not the best. I plan on upgrading them when it starts to fail which shouldn’t be any time soon, my experience with Traxxas electronics has been reliable for me. I really like the little things of the Sledge that the Kraton doesn’t have, like the clipless body system, and the snap lock battery tray, it just makes it more convenient. I also think the Sledge look wise looks more aggressive over the Kraton.

  @@giosrcs I own a sledge and I got rid of the original battery trap and replaces it with straps . I need to run bigger batteries . The sledge is fun out the box until the chassis bends and start destroying gears . I went through this already . When I took my original chassis off , it was bent worst then you can imagine

  Compare the new sledge with the upgrqdes to the kraton V2. Can't compare a first generation to a 2nd. Then we'll have a comparison. Sledge all day.

  The Sledge I unboxed in the video is the current Sledge out now, that is soon to be considered the old Sledge when Traxxas releases the updated one.

  A lot of people compare the price of the Sledge with the Arrma Kraton. Before I got the Sledge I was thinking about getting the Kraton, but for me I really like the looks of the Traxxas more and little things like the clipless body system.

  Does this body fit on the FELONY? You said you have to swap the wheels out? On the Felony, the rear tires are bigger than the front. Will it hinder the fit and finish if I try to buy the GT-R body for my Felony?

  It does fit the felony with body modifications like you have to remove the front bumper and rear splitter and trim the rear wheel cut out it’s a tiny bit too small for the wheels

  lol dude back left wheel was whobbling ... either way they looked like they performed pretty good im about to order a set of these. btw most of the time the whobble should go away after a few hard runs "should" being key word

  The tires have hold up really well and are really good for high speed runs. I noticed they have more grip than the stock tires. I like to drift and take corners at high rates of speed, so far they have hold up to the abuse. As far as lasting, I did notice they last more than stock, but it really depends how you drive, Thx for watching!

  @justingarsman2248 Yeah, I got mine to fit you will need to flip the rear mounting braket. Move the mount sticks to the inner most holes and adjust height.

  You were running 2.8 100mm wide tires or the felony? Or the 107mm? If u ran the felony wide tires you have to run a different gear ratio

  I’m running the Felony wide wheels currently for the C8, I never changed the gear ratio because I’m always swapping bodies that require to run wide and regular wheels for the rear. The car runs fine and don’t notice anything different.

  @@giosrcs I changed the rear wheels for the infractions one. I sawp between the felony hubs,talion axle and kraton hexes and kraton hubs, axles and hexes for my body so that the tires are proportional to the body. I switch between The nascar body and the corvette body. they both drive very well and drift well. The v2 infraction and limitless uses the kraton hexes and talion axles in the rear for extra 5mm width. More stability while drifting. I have a video coming soon on it

  I want to paint a new corvette body racing style but i fear getting a defective one with a bowed hood.. both times i had to go trough HH warranty. That was a years ago

  Oh wow, I had a defect on the front windshield on my Pro-Line Corvette C8 body but it wasn’t too bad. It’s very rare but bodies are never perfect lol.

  The Tamiya R34 body came with a sticker sheet that has Nismo stickers for the wheels
