Hey man, you're a genius! As a beginner with no knowledge of engineering or electronics, do you have any suggestions for me as I plan to learn through self-teaching?

Very good overview of this high function robot kit. Excellent information for making the purchase decision. Suggest this video not be used for the actual assembly process. The video assembly sequence moves too fast and lacks sufficient detail from my personal experience.

AI voice, that is why the mask

Honestly, it would be better if you just left her original Chinese audio with the subtitles. The AI voice is really off-putting. I couldn't watch the whole video, even though I'm interested in the product. Oddly, one of my best friends in China is named XiaoZhou. Is that you, MeiMei? lol

One of the things I think is edited in this video is the lag. When you ask something to the pi 4b don't expect a quick response like inside that video. At least in my experience with pis and voice commands.

this is better - 4 motors - mecanum wheels , lidar, vison - all what we need for start - price also OK - better buy ready kit - when you but chipper parts you spend more time (also expensive)

for electronic study perfect - similar is produced in Poland but strong metal body, strong 4 wheels (4 encoders) - about 2000-3000 USD - this (version ?) - link < 700 USD - the parts min 500 USD - but robot is as good as good is software ( with manuals ) - 4 wheels with 4 motors is much better ( easy drive )
