  I think the reason Maguns placed the knight on a6 in the oppening is because White is threatning to play Nc4 and Bf4, if black goes Nbd7 he can't generate counterplay

  Those double-rook and pawn endgames are tricky. Perhaps going after White's f-pawn gives you enough counterplay to hold? By the way, maybe I just wasn't listening carefully enough, but I don't think you ever told us who your opponent was. Sorry this game slipped away, but you'll be back! Thanks for sharing this with us.

  Have enough sleep ! it's impossible to play good chess without a healthy amount of sleep ... 8 to 12 hours, the older you get the more sleep you need :: )
