    Trump was big against Pat Buchanan back in the 90s, so I know he's not a serious leader. He's a showman. A fulfilled prophecy from the Bible? Guess we'll have to wait and see, but we should all make our own spiritual arrangements in the meantime, which I'm once again convinced is the most important thing. Always has been. Maybe the Mos Eisley Cantina ritual at the RNC featuring America last and Baghavad Gita song numbers will be enough to wake more God fearing traditionalists of any political flavor up.

    Yes they can definitely operate like fraudster con artists a significant part of the time. They are big about building rapport with the customer and salespeople so they can come back and try to coerce folks into paying for a full roof replacement since mathematical probability of only partial insurance approval is highest. Sadly roofing companies earn their shady reputations. Best Choice Roofing. Maven. Patriot. All the others. The whole industry is bloated because it involves churn and burn, non stop knocking and insurance claim filing. This contributes to real inflation also. They take advantage of nice, well meaning people regularly. Hit me up at [email protected]

    I understand the reason why they want people to sign a contingency agreement so that people don't back out at the last step in the process and they lose all that time invested. That said, all of their sales people are pressured to get as many contingency agreements signed as possible since there is absolutely no risk involved for the salesperson or the roofing company. All that risk is on the customer. Just like waiting to get paid for that contingency to turn into a contract becomes the responsibility of the salesperson and most of them wait several months to even get paid a dime. I don't know too many people who can live like that these days. Best Choice Roofing understands though, which is why they spend so much time brainwashing their staff twice a week at the regular money worship ceremonies. A place where veterans practically break down crying saying they're going to have to go live in their car if they don't get paid pretty soon, while there are already other armed forces veterans in the room sleeping in their cars working for Best Choice Roofing.

    Yeah for sure. My big thing is this: when you are required to climb a 3-story ladder once or twice a day and crawl out of a hatch on the Walmart roof and hopefully not pass out in the Florida sun while you're up there, or you're implicitly required to go to less-frequented parts of town that are higher crime, and yet you still haven't seen the face of your Shiftsmart supervisor/manager on a Zoom call which you're expected to make... and all your Shiftsmart supervisors/managers are females who aren't getting up on that roof, or they're Circle K managers who aren't lifting a finger to clean the toilet or replace the bathroom soap, and your training video on facitily inspection was a pre-recorded powerpoint video of a female whose hallway is chirping because they won't replace the battery in the fire alarm, then I think it's easy to see how we'll never eliminate bias or personal preference in hiring and management, but ultimately picking winners results in a lot of losers. Also, dealing with foreign diverse managers at Walmart in the receiving room whose countries of origins probably don't really have HVAC being rude to me for putting my safety on the line for their A/C, you start to feel like you as an American exist for someone else, and they don't deserve your regular work to keep things advanced and comfortable. Have a great day sir.

    Shiftsmart / Walmart Inspection owed me for 3 shifts they didn't pay me for amounting to around $450. After releasing this video, one of my shifts got paid. Since releasing this video, about $100 in ad revenue has been generated. It will now take me less than 2 years to recover all the money they stiffed me on and after that, it's all profit. But the real gem is recovering what these shady scammers will steal from you while you deter quality workers from making a bad choice by working for Shiftsmart. That's the real fun part.

    No, not doing research when picking your DJ or artist name is just dumb, and it's totally ignorant of how copyright publishing works. "Can you trademark a band name that already exists?" The legal advice is in; an artist can’t force you to drop your band or artist name because you arrived on the music scene several years before they did. An experienced trademark attorney could have helped you with thorough trademark searches to avoid this issue. Key Takeaway: Make sure no one else is using your band's name before you apply for a trademark. If the name is already in use, your application will be rejected. Source: secureyourtrademark.com/blog/trademark-band-names/#:~:text=An%20experienced%20trademark%20attorney%20could,your%20application%20will%20be%20rejected. You can call me all the names you like. I do not care. You are demanding someone who has legimitately produced music 10x as long as your little buddy remove their music and cease to exist as an artist. You are ok with trying to shut down someone that MTV thought was competent enough as a music producer to PUBLISH and for tens of thousands of people to enjoy. You are the worst type of "person" that exists in the United States. You and your ilk are the lowest life forms in this country who think that scenario is somehow acceptable. And at the end of the day, you refuse to make superior music and simply absorb the artist name and have a cute story to share with Kimmel or Fallon on Late Night, since this is the first time I've ever heard of you in any other channel then checking out Spotify or Google. And you're not even the only one besides me. There's a guy in the UK who goes by the artist name as well. I've never asked him to remove his mucic. He's never ased me to remove mine. Both of us have been around for at least 10 years. My name is even Patrick, hence Pat RIOT makes a lot more sense when I do it. And Pat is an English/Irish name. I know the last name of your little buddy is far from English. Stop trying to appropriate OUR culture and language, would ya? Do I have the right to use my own name in my own artist name for music produced and published in the last 15 years? I reckon I do, and the law backs me on this. Maybe your buddy should focus on being a better musician and less time on trying to shut others down. You've had favortism for so long you think that you can just shut people down with a form filed, last year of all years! Maybe just focus on merit from now on. That's the kind of thing that actually changes the world for the better.

What I find the most hilarious is that someone wouldn't focus on making great music, instead they come to my channel and demand I take all my music down going back 15 years because they chose an artist name that already existed, then filed some paperwork in 2023. It's truly laughable and comical. I think music is not their forte. Stand-up or sketch comedy is probably actually their strong point.

Had I not retainet it and the burglars would have stolen, they'd hav wiped the hard drive and sold it at a pawn shop for $100. I'm a disabled American veteran. I have a college degree. Those burglars were foreigners whose point of entry for this country was the southern US border. Do you care enough to focus on what reall matters, like someone you're associated with demanding a disabled American with MTV credits remove my music and its abilty to serve my subribers (check my susbcriber count, do they not matter) and basically shut him down as an artist. Does an American not deserve to have his own version, shot, history, and legimitacy at and of the American Dream? This guy is 100% correct. Those door to door roofers are only interested in making profit off your insurance. The other issue is that they will charge the insurance carrier a higher price than if you were to pay out of pocket. They will try to blow up that roof claim to maximize their profits. Great video!

  • @TrueGritProductions
    @TrueGritProductions28 күн бұрын

    I saw the difference between the average cash price roofing replacement estimate instead of waiting for the insurance to do their thing and it was less. Also your comment cemented the reality. This shows how much bloat there is in the entire operation, from already overpriced insurance (inflation never seems to hurt them for some reason, they keep raising prices) to roofing companies like my former employer, Best Choice Roofing, who only do full replacements or get the partial insurance approval and then pressure the customer into paying the difference, and finally, the added compensation for lead time to production from initial contingency signing because the forecasted price of materials goes up with inflation on a quarterly basis, and no doubt the material producers are taking advantage and price gouging too. It's kind of a group scam when you think about it. And it's only possible because you must have insurance to get a mortgage, and most people must have a mortgage to be able to get a home. Make the product mandated by law, then hustle the price up through the ceiling.

    That's interesting. I wonder if they spam out approvals to folks somehow and hope for a response back. There is a lot of bait-and-switch going on in the hiring world these days. I got a message from Patriot Roofing LLC the other day saying that the marketing assistant position I applied for was only part time and paid $15/hr. That would be fine with me. However, this person then said there was an opening for project specialist, which is completely different. She then proceeded to make sure that I was physically capable to use a ladder and get on a roof, and smarted off to me about her being the copywriter so they "were all set there." We live in a low-trust labor market and a low-trust economy. Perhaps that's Shiftsmart's character arc unfolding over the last 5 years along and in line with society. I suppose it's easy for you to interpret it that way when I myself had my home broken into by illegals in 2010 in Houston, TX. I understand that no borders means having no country. I know first hand about serving in the armed forces and putting my life on the line for Americans' freedoms and the rights of Americans to be safe from foreign attack or negative influence. I know what it's like being a published artist on MTV for a song that three local Houstonians (including me) produced but illegals almost stole one Saturday morning and how scumbags like you don't believe people like me get to have an "American Dream." And I don't care. I disrespect you for all of it.

    @@TrueGritProductions scumbags like me ? Ok I would think your well educated, is name calling on the internet the American way you are standing strongly behind. You served your country well and that’s appreciated ( ps I give money back to local veterans at my local Walmart and buy army trinkets to help raise money your welcome by the way) to be intern called a scumbag for highlighting a simple point that your disgruntled and hostile tone was more towards the fact that the people were immigrants and less towards the actual nature of the business. My condolences to you regarding your break in (allegedly by illegal immigrants) but hey break in happen everyday it’s life we get stronger and move on. No need to be hateful and say racial slurs and harmful phases. Remember what you went to war and fought for a safer world were peace and freedom can be the new normal. Again thank you for your service.

    @@TrueGritProductionsit’s funny you deleted my comment. Maybe peace of the lord be with you 😂 you will need it. Nothing in life is going your way because you are hateful and bitter. I am sorry for you in every humanly way possible I guess I don’t fit your European narrative and posting your narrative that all immigrants are the problem so you deleted my heartfelt comment. People like you are what’s wrong with the world. 😊 have a blessed day. Again thanks for your service ( if you even did )

    ShiftSmart Circle K was bad. And ShiftSmart Walmart HVAC/roof inspections were also bad. The work was fine. The management and not paying me or being accountable to their own processes shows how the scam works. You never see your manager who screws you over, they won't even show their face on Zoom chat, and that makes it easy to steal from you and not pay you when it's all over. After they've screwed something up and you've already finished working. With zero communication. Sound reputable?

    Before you blow out the candles on that cake, it was only a 1-year anniversary because I was desperate for a job both times. Do you think THAT does not also reflect in the ShiftSmart corporate ethos? I showed up to a Circle K for ShiftSmart once and another ShiftSmart contractor was there too, dude was wearing basketball shorts and house slippers. Did not get sent home. So the ShiftSmart cycle also does reflect poorly in its own staff performance from time to time. There is an actual reason those Circle K managers make some negative comments about other ShiftSmart staff that goes beyond them just being difficult, though there's plenty of that too. Hey, as long as Mark Cuban gets to eat prime rib tonight and as long as manager make as much money as possible while not actually being competent, guess that's all that matters any more these days.

    @@TrueGritProductions I feel you and that it was a disappointing experience. The same can be said with every W2 job that fell short of all the grand promises they made during the recruiting process. It doesn't make the business model illegitimate. Just terrible operational practices. Thus we all have made the decision move to, hopefully, greener pastures.

    It absolutely does make the business model illegitimate and if you don't see that I can't help you. Look how Uber has screwed over its drivers in the last 10 years. Take your afro and go somewhere. I'm done arguing with chumps for one day.

    Guess you shouldn't ever wonder why a male manager is on the phone with you talking about a roofing job discussing details with a highly unusual cadence that sounds more like phone pillow talk, seemingly out of nowhere. A guy who proactively told me one of the first times we were alone that he was tired of his girlfriend. I didn't ask. The same morbidly obese guy who got me fired because I said he was gonna die before he turned 55 from a stroke. No straight fat guy acts like that! But I bet you might :)
