That old dude might be the hardest boss in the game. He has so much health and that illegal katana is so long it gets you with last pixel of its tip. I have died over 20 minimum
Right?!? It's like Sephiroth's katana has nothing on this guy's!
0:20 This difficultly spike is really here. Way too much enemies. The game is like, at this point you have figured out how to deal with this. Man up or die
Yeah I was so bummed out cause I thought I'd start the episode with something new and then out of nowhere "sensei onegaishimasu"... if I had a webcam you would have seen the absolute sorrow on my face 🤣
If you're ever up for a game similar to God Hand, can warmly recommend Clash: Artifacts of Chaos. Has a very different tone and art direction and isn't quite as complex as God Hand but still has a good bit to offer on the combat department. Plus awesome music, art direction and atmosphere.
It's the first time I've heard of this game, I'll check it out 👌 Thanks for the suggestion 😉
@@LoafsAdventures Hope you'll like what you see! It's a prequel to the Zeno Clash series, which were (quite unique) first-person brawlers/beat-em-ups. First one's quite short (only around five, six hours), second one's more around twelve, and Clash: AoC has the most meat on its bones and combat depth. Clocks in around 15 hours i'd say. Zenozoik is a very unique and awesome world full of monsters, freaks and aberrations. In the meantime, wish you a lot of fun on the rest of God Hand!
Thank you so much 😁
Actually there was a plan for a location inhabited by intelligent racoons from FEV testing. But idea was scraped in early stage. Only sketches remained. That was no bug. Bufouts have a drawback which decrease ST by 2 six hours after using it which stays for sixteen more hours. You will not get Power Armor for free. One can be get as reward for other job for BOS and other has to be repaired.
Thank you for clearing that up, I was so confused cause I guess the side effect must have taken place and wore off during the bike ride to the brotherhood the second time around. It's a shame about the PA... but it does make sense they wouldn't just hand one out to anybody who joins 🤣 oh well I'll get it eventually 🫡
Finally 😂😂 or i should be sad as you will finish the game much faster now. Let's all celebrate your new running ability 😂😂
🤣 thanks againfor making me notice something wasn't right! 😉
@@LoafsAdventuresthe next sections are much harder anyway. You have noticed it as I'm not sure how you would be able to win as there a lot more enemies
Yeah and there's still a tradeoff, it got a little easier with 30fps but because of that I get to higher levels faster so it gets harder again 🤣
Best gane ever ❤
Right on! 💪😉
28:43 we started singing together at the same time 😂😂😂😂😂
NICE😮💨 It's weirdly catchy right? 🤣 Edit: the whistling emoji turns into a sigh on yt lol
16:49 bto5i have never seen that fall animation 😂😂😂😂 you might be the only person who fall here. But they are definitely moving faster than normal
Hahahah see that's precisely why I fell so many times, to show you guys something new 🤣
super late comment... but it can be helpful if you play this game again, and/or, for fallout 2, if you try jumping into it at some point too (as both fallout 1 and fallout 2, use the same engine and mechanics) ----------------- probably got (at least some of) this stuff figured out already, but here you go: ------------ the 'F1' key for seeing the controls screen (doesn't tell what they do though) ------------ in the game settings screen (the 'ESC' key for game menu options or press the alphabet-letter ’o’ key or press the UI button with the white-yellow circle on it: it's the button below the 'INV' button on the UI, and then choose the 'preference' option): IMPORTANT: have combat speed on fastest (it's extremely slow otherwise) you should have message speed ("text delay") on the slowest, as the dialogue popup scrolls fast (though, you can always move the mouse cursor to the top/bottom of the dialogue box to scroll back up/down, so the message speed setting isn't super important, if you don't change it to its slowest setting) have it set on 'walking' as the default (running cancels/ends being in sneak mode) ----------- hold shift key when you need to run (running cancels/ends being in sneak mode), or if you double mouse (left) click, it will run too (though it’s a bit finicky, the double left click doesn’t work that well, at least for me, anyways) (if you got the 'always run' on as the default, then it's reversed: holding shift key causes you to walk) ----------- inventory screen: 'i' key or press the 'inv' game UI button character screen: 'c' key or press the 'cha' game UI button pipboy screen (has quests, time/date, and etc info/stuff): 'p' key or press the 'pip' game UI button sleeping/resting controls: press the 'z' key or go to the pipboy screen and then press the alarm/bell icon at the top displaying the time/date in the text/message box in the lower left corner: the ’?’ key -------- end turn in combat: 'spacebar' key or press the 'turn' in the lower right corner's game UI little square box or use up all of your APs (action points) end combat: 'enter/return' key or press the 'combat' in the lower right corner's game UI little square box, note that you can’t end combat as long as you’re still detected by some hostile ------- skill usage selection: press the right red button on the game UI or press the 'S' key or directly use the specific skill via pressing the '1-8' keys (the top row of number keys) (see below) 1: sneak (toggles sneak mode on/off) 2: lockpick (unlock) 3. steal/plant 4. traps (detect trap and/or disarm trap) 5. first aid 6. doctor 7. science 8. repair ------- right click, or press the 'm' key, (keep pressing to toggle/cycle/switch through them: see below), to change mouse cursor: A. the big red outline hex pointer (movement) B. the arrow pointer (actions/commands: examine, use backpack/inventory, use skill, drop, etc etc etc) IMPORTANT (for B above): once/after on the arrow pointer, you can then hold down the left click for the different action/command icons: examine, use item, use skills, etc C. the small red target pointer (attack) ------- to enter into combat mode: get detected/seen by hostiles (automatic) or left click on the big rectangle in the middle on the bottom of the screen of the game UI or press the 'A' key ------ attack types (depends on weapon): melee: 1. swing 2. thrust 3. throw (some weapons can work as both melee and throwing) 4. aimed/targeted attack (this is the forerunner to the VATS system of later fallouts) (this can NOT be done if you chose the 'fast shot' trait) throwing: 1. swing (some weapons can work as both melee and throwing) 2. thrust (some weapons can work as both melee and throwing) 3. throw 4. aimed/targeted attack (this is the forerunner to the VATS system of later fallouts) (this can NOT be done if you chose the 'fast shot' trait) firearms: 1. single shot 2. aimed/targeted shot (this is the forerunner to the VATS system of later fallouts) (this can NOT be done if you chose the 'fast shot' trait) 3. burst shot (not every firearm can do burst shot, only some firearms got burst shot) and while not an attack type: 1. reload (to put more bullets into the gun), costs 2 AP (I think) ---------- to change attack type: right click (keep right clicking to cycle through them) on the big rectangle on the bottom of the screen of the game UI or press the 'N' key -------- to switch weapon slot: press the left red circle button on the game UI or press the 'B' key ------ important: you can either click on (right click to get the arrow pointer: hold left click and select the 'use' or 'skill icons) the target and select the item/skill to use on them, or, you can select a skill and then select a target to use the skill on, or you can click on (right click to get the arrow pointer: hold left click and select the 'use') the item and them select what target to use the item on ----- IMPORTANT: in the barter (and/or steal, I think too) screen(s), you can press the mouse cursor on the number box, and type in the amount you want (even though there’s no indication that you can do so unfortunately, I myself never knew I could do this for quite a while myself, pressing the arrow/+/- game UI buttons, gazillions of times, wasn’t fun, lol) the amount per item-unit can’t exceed ‘999’ though, so say you want to barter 1998 bottle caps: move bottle caps item-unit over to its barter/exchange box, press the mouse cursor on the number box, and type in 999, then again move the bottle caps item-unit over to its barter/exchange box, and click on the number box, and type in 999, and you’ve successfully bartered over 1,998 bottle caps bottle caps item-unit #1: 999 bottle caps item-unit #2: 999 = 1,998 bottle caps ------- companions (except for dogmeat) have infinite storage to give items to companions, use their barter screen, as they'll gladly take your items for free (if not, the item has a weird glitch to it, it happens sometimes with some items, can’t figure out exactly what causes it), lol (and this also bypasses the normal character weight restrictions that they have) to take items back from your companions: just use 'steal' on them, and steal back whatever you want ----- the dots/circles (green/red and bright/dulled) above the big box in the center of the bottom of the screen) are your APs (action points) and the vertical bar between the big box in the center of the bottom of the screen and the HP and AC boxes, is your bullet amount remaining in your gun’s magazine
continued... ----------------------------- during combat: sequence determines the turn order of all characters/npcs/monsters/etc: highest sequence to lowest sequence who ever initiates the combat mode and combat, goes first (if you get detected, the detector goes first, otherwise you go first), and then sequence is applied (unless you're no longer detected, allowing you to get to go first again, by ending combat mode and then re-entering combat mode, without getting detected, if able, this can be keep being repeated) going into the inventory screen costs 4 AP, unless you got the quick pockets perk (each quick pockets perk, reduces the cost by 1 AP), once in the inventory screen, you can do as much as you want (no AP cost per individual action once in the inventory screen, you can keep using stimpaks until healed, reload your guns, and/or whatever else you want/need to do, for an example) you can kill all hostiles, but combat doesn't end automatically, so you'll have to manually end combat, don't shoot the "civilians/neutrals/non-hostiles", lol just because it shows a target as red, doesn't mean its hostile... so be careful... sometimes you can do the 'end turn' (or use up all your AP) and combat will end, but not always.... ------- criticals: criticals can happen on their own (using single shot or burst shot), but they're more likely to happen if you use the targeted/aimed shot positive criticals: x2 damage x3 damage x4 damage (eyes only) instant kill crippled (leg/arm only) blinded (eyes only) knocked out (temporary coma/unconscious: lose turn/s, and lose APs for the turn when you wake up and get back up) knocked down (lose APs to get back up for just that turn) ignores armor negative criticals: (too lazy) ---- targeted/aimed attack/shot: the 'torso/body' is the same as doing a single/normal shot/attack, you'll notice it has the same percent chance, the 'torso/body' body slot is the default shot/attack location the other body slot choices have lower percent chances, but that means they have better chance of doing the greater/better criticals and have a higher chance of them occurring (if you can hit the target) ------- accuracy factors: skill level for firearms only: PE/PER (perception) stat distance (all weapons are most accurate right next to target: no penalty for far distance weapons shooting target right in front of them, but the farther distance weapons can shoot from farther away without any or with less penalty than the shorter distance weapons) light/darkness level various perks and/or traits ----- the 3 hidden 'ignores defense' ability weapons: 1. power fist (unarmed) 2. .223 pistol (small guns) 3. ripper (melee) (there's other powerful/useful weapons too, along with doing criticals with any weapon, but these will always work well against the more armored targets) ----- the sledge hammer and super sledge both do knock-back ------- spear, sledge hammer, super sledge, and maybe a few more melee weapons have a 2-tile reach, and I think the accuracy is the same for either 1-tile or 2-tiles, and am not sure if any of these can hit 2 enemies (an enemy on 1st tile and an enemy on 2nd tile behind it) or not (too lazy to test it) -------- the "flamer" (flame thrower, big guns, fire-arm) also hits like 2-3 tiles, and it might do more damage at 2-3 tiles away compared to being right in their face (1 tile away), as the sole exception in terms of distance ---- damage types: 1. normal/physical (all weapons except what's listed below under the other damage types) 2. fire (flamer: flame thrower, maybe: motolov cocktail: this might be explosive instead, not sure) (deathclaws are the least resistant to fire damage, out of all of the other damage types) 3. explosive (rocket launcher, frag grenade, dynamite, plastic explosives, maybe: motolov cocktail: this might be fire instead, not sure) 4. electrical (cattle prod and alien blaster) (electrical works well against everything, but is especially powerful against machines/robots) 5. laser (laser pistol, gatling laser, laser rifle) (laser doesn't do well against the highly resisted power-armor/metal/tesla armored targets, but I think it works well against unarmored super mutants, maybe deathclaws, and etc creatures) 6. plasma (plasma pistol, plasma rifle, turbo plasma rifle, plasma grenade) (plasma works well against everything) 7. EMP: this damage type only damages robots/machines and nothing else (pulse grenade), so it's different from the electrical damage type, which does damage everything ------- max clvl (character level): 21 // (but most people first time blind or casual playing will usually finish the game at ~ clvls 12-15, as you really got to grind and know the game well, to get to the max clvl of 21) max skill level: 200 // (in fallout 2, it's 300) max stat level: 10 max perks (without the 'skilled' trait): 7 (clvls: 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21) max perks (with the 'skilled' trait): 5 (clvls: 4, 8, 12, 16, 20)
I appreciate your help and thank you for writing everything down, but I cannot express enough thanks for telling me about the caps thing!!! I have spent so much time going up and down with that counter while I could have just typed the amount... again, thank you 😁 Also I am playing using the Fallout1in2 mod so I assume there's some little differences because of that, like, you said companions have infinite storage while mine actually have a max carrying capacity, or the caps cannot exceed 999 but here they can... but yeah aside from a couple of things everything else is really on point and great advice, thanks 😉
@@LoafsAdventures Yes. Due to Fallout 2 mod companions have carry limit when giving them items. There's still way to make them mules. If you kick them from party temporally you can sell them anything without a weight limit. Then pick them back. Only drawback is that overweight reduce their combat AP down.
I see! Thanks 😉

Game have some memory leak bug which survives all fixes. When you use save-loads on one, place repeatedly. it crashes on memory overflow. Restarting game not solve it. Only restarting computer.
I would have never guessed that, thank you for telling me! I'll be more careful not to do that then 😅
You are obviously under-equipped. At this stage you should have Power Armor (from Brotherhood) and use some high damage energy or big weapon. If you leave companions down and use Purple Robe as disguise, Nightkins not turn hostile. And as Fallout 1 companions can't equip other than starting armor is practically impossible keep them alive till the end of game.
Ah that would explain it 🤣 You'll see how maddening it was trying to keep everyone alive in the next episode. Thanks to the mod I can actually tell them to wear different armor but I don't suppose the brotherhood would part ways with 4 t-51s hahahah, would be cool having a full suited up party though! Bythe way do you know what I could give Katja to equip as a weapon she does no damage to anybody 😅
@@LoafsAdventures Actually, as a new Initiate you will get Brotherhood armor for free (slightly better than Combat Armor) and there are ways to get 2 suits of Power Armor (only one can be later hardened though). Katja is quite deadly with 10mm smg (unfortunately sometimes even for you). Safer option is a 14mm Pistol.
Nice! Thank you man 😉
I you go a bit deeper in dialog with Talus (ghoul in library basement) you can find, that he's from Vault 13 and was sent to find water chip, but was caught by mutants in Necropolis and dipped to FEV. He has even deeper backstory which tell he sided with Set and fight against glowing ghouls in Vault 12 killing most of them. Therefore you found only minimal resistance there. That thug east from library in a bounty hunter named after Chriss Avellone, one of game developers. He's hostile to characters with negative karma.
Ooh interesting! I actually just realized that I should talk to "generic" npcs more than once, I got some great dialogue from Dane (you'll see it in today's episode) and I almost missed it because I didn't think he'd say anything new.
😂😂😂😂😂
Finally you bested the DOOR.

You mean the double input on the left stick? I don't really use it because in 60fps it didn't work, so I kinda forgot you could do that... but thanks for reminding me, I'll try to use it more in the next episodes! 🫡
The more boats you destroy the less enemies you get on that stage 15:00
Wow, cool mechanic!
Is this the original fallout?
Yes and no haha It's fallout 1 but using a mod called fallout1in2 it was ported over into fallout 2's engine to have some qol improvements, increased resolution and restore some cut content as well!
Solar Scorcher is an energy weapon. So it's chance to his is as low as your Energy Weapon skill.
Ooooh that's why! While editing I thought maybe it was because I was in a building so technically the gun didn't have any sunlight to power it lol By the way where do you think I should spend all those skill points?
@@LoafsAdventures Solar Scorcher can be used indoor. It can't be reloaded indoor. In late game you should invest (130 ideal) into advanced weapons. I prefer Energy, but Big are also viable. If you did not boosted Speech and Lockpick to 100 yet do it too. Outdoorsman is useful to avoid unwanted encounters (but it can be done as well by save/load).
Ok thanks, then I'll go for speech and energy weapons 😁
This one is a special encounter added by a mode. It takes you to starting area of Fallout 2. It is based on similar encounter in Fallout 2 (including a Solar Scorcher to be able to find) which take you to Vault 13 of Fallout 1.
Cool! I'll have to remember and try to get the encounter in fallout 2 as well, when we get around to it.
@@LoafsAdventures Getting special encounters in both games is based on Luck and if you have Explorer perk. Unlike normal encounters, which are bind to specific map subareas, they can happen anywhere. You recognize them as they are marked on map by a blinking target instead of blinking lightning.
best combo recomended jab straight sugar gene combo triple side kick.
Thanks! I'll make sure to try it 😉
Man this is the best 😂 You humiliating everyone by winning just with stomping. The only technique that works in 60fps
I have transcended the God Hand and acquired the GOD FOOT 🦵🤣
why are you doing this to yourself man, switch to 30fps and play the game how it was intended
I think I will have to pretty soon hahah I've already recorded the next episode and fighting the devil hand was almost impossible... I eventually managed to beat him in a cheesy way but yeah it's starting to make the game not enjoyable so I'll switch to 30 for the episodes after the next one ;)
Man 60fps is hard core difficultly
For real! I'll keep going until it's manageable, if it becomes too difficult I'll have to switch back to 30
@@LoafsAdventures you can play this section again and it would only be 20m
You don't even need to have stimpack (or other usable item except geiger counter) in hand to use it on others. Action 'Use item from inventory' (backpack icon) works on you same as on others and cost only 2 AP in combat (plus cost of moving if used on other)
Oh nice! Thank you 🫡
Nicely done. You are getting better 👍
Thanks 💪😁
Your quick trip to advance time took it just over March 25, 2162. And thing is, if you ever return into Necropolis after this time you trigger 'mutant invasion' event. Such event was originally planed, in given time, for all locations (Vault 13 last), but in patch 1.1 it was removed with exception of Necropolis. In ending slides it also stayed for Followers and Hub.
That's why the town was taken over then. Honestly I like that they patched it, I wouldn't want to be on another timer, I still have so many places to explore! 😆
Nice. You're the first for a long time who actually did noticed that direction hint. Most of new players read just about Vault 12 and ask. "Where the hack is a Bakersfield? Did they tell? No."
I got used to directions like that the hard way, playing morrowind hahaha I'm glad I was right for once, I just wish I put 2 and 2 together sooner and thought about the hint the water lady gave me instead of going halfway across the map 😅
Most of ammo exist in up to three variants: - Jacketed hollow point (JPH) - Full metal Jacket (FMJ) - Armor piercing(AP) You can't mix them in the magazine. So if you have one type in magazine, you need to unload before you can load with other type.
I would have never thought of unloading it before trying other ammo! These tips are great thank you dude 🤩
Problem with urn was you had set in settings to 'always run'. That changes behavior from: clik = walking, doubleclik = running to click = running, doubleclik = walking. But as soon as you start running your sneaking is canceled. And you have to sneak to be able grab an urn withou Neil notices it.
That makes sense, thanks for telling me. Since I didn't know, putting it back was also as much of a challenge as taking it 🤣
Actually Charisma have almost no effect in dialogue. It's mostly Intelligence what gives you extra dialog lines. And it's mainly Speech which determines if you are able to persuade somebody of your ideas.- in that case there's also a roll, so save-load may help. Using skill are also rolls. Roll is usually counted as (your skill-difficulty)%. So if lock difficulty is 20 and you lockpick skill 70%, you have 50% to pick a lock in each try.
Ooh that's interesting, thank you! 😉
If you get into inventory you can use as many stimpacks as you want/have
Thank you for the tip! Another subscriber actually reminded me that I discovered this feature in the early episodes and then forgot all about it lol
hey loaf, god hand isn't supposed to look like that. That 60fps mod you're using is breaking animations by making them butter smooth and I'm surprised you didn't get motion sickness from that. Capcom was using the same engine for viewtiful joe and okami around the time Clover Studio was alive, and all these games were capped at 30 fps. So forcing god hand at 60 is breaking the game in all sorts way that wasn't intended. Why not play the game the intended way without the 60fps hack for a change, you'll see how night and day the game looks and feels. Have fun with your playthrough.
Thank you for your advice! I did start to notice the patch might've been impacting the game more than I thought when I encountered the first door with a face, and then I got confirmation when I couldn't progress the cannon minigame. I had to go back to 30 fps to get past that and yeah in those 5 minutes of gameplay I could really feel the difference: enemies took longer to get up and got stunned sooner, god hand mode lasted way longer, I had time to select which roulette technique I wanted instead of frantically scrolling hoping to get the right one lol and so much more. I think that if I come across another section where I need to disable the patch I'll take your advice and leave it off for good!
This is kinda harder than when you fight her later on. As she can her armor through your hits and hit you back. You are dealing less damage. You moves are way slower in 60fps
Oh ok so I really am playing hard mode lol
@@LoafsAdventuresyeah while I'm playing I'm saying why this is so easy. I guess i need to try 60fps
Nice video man 🔥
Thank you ;)
I have recorded myself playing. Forgot to record the door part 😅. But you can see the moves I'm using now. The 60fps definitely has an effect. I think it's makes you deal less damage kzread.info/dash/bejne/e4lszaSdgdWdc5c.html
Yeah it might not be the damage per se but anything affected by time so meters and cooldowns are twice as fast. Anyway props to you for being able to get to level 3 and die, I can't do it on pc and I can't even begin to imagine doing it on mobile lol
Mobile is easier i think. It is faster to touch than press. But it is harder to do quick time events l
Brother adjust your moves 😂. It shouldn't take that long to open. Also start hitting rights to stick as soon as it opens it mouth. Btw i started playing on My phone and I'm at this level too and the door killed me 😂 but i only had one hit to die
Oh yeah I've put in some faster moves, that should help haahah Btw does the game run well on a phone?
Brother adjust your moves 😂. It shouldn't take that long to open. Also start hitting rights to stick as soon as it opens it mouth
I just ran across your Fallout series, and I've bingewatched all of them. Just have to say that it's so much fun to watch someone discover the game, wish I could erase my memory of it and replay it again without knowing anything about it. Can't wait for the next episode. Also, I don't mean to backseat drive, but just a simple tip to make it easier, since you have already discovered it, but seem to have forgotten about it. You did it in one of the first episodes. You can use your stimpacks directly from the inventory. Just bring up the inspect menu on it and select the open hand to use it. That way you don't have to open your inventory, put it to your hotbar, and then use it. That would cost you 6 AP, whilst just open the inventory is 4 AP. Anyway, thank you for letting me join you on your journey through the wasteland.
Thank you so much, you just made my day! And also, you are totally right, I did forget about that option lol I've already recorded the next 3 episodes but I'm gonna make sure to keep it in mind for the ones after that. Once again thank you for the tip and for the kind words ;)
3:38 your arch nemesis 😂. The DOOR
I'm convinced the final boss of the game is just gonna be a gigantic door with hundreds of clubs 🤣
just mash fast with your right finger and keep your Left finger on the right stick . Once it opens its mouth, move the right stick
Thanks for the tips! Do you also know how to deal with the spiky demons? I assume you're supposed to backflip away but they're so so fast
They are rough. Yeah you have to backflip. I usually die😂

13:20 that one way to do it 😂. Never done it like this. Its funny how you managing each stage in your own way
Yeah this game is surprisingly flexible with its mechanics, I'm honestly having a blast playing it 💪 Btw can you confirm that the "right" way to do it is just plain ol' punching and dodging? Cause I'm still not sure 😂
Yup, exactly. You need to be fast that all also adjust your moves that knee kick is slow
Dodging punches what makes you level up faster. Glad you using the reverse sweep 😂. You can spam it actually. Weak and fat enemies will just keep flipping
Yeah thank you again for suggesting that move, it's really handy! Now I just have to find the guts to dodge towards enemies and not away from them lol
