  I have a datejust 41 blue dial 2022 with smooth bezel & oyster bracelet. I love it & i personally prefer the oyster appearance more than the jubilee does although it’s slightly less expensive.also I do prefer oyster with smooth than oyster with fluted..

  Now when you’re walking with the watch on, doesn’t it eventually fall on to your wrist/hand? I feel like my sub is either too tight or too loose.

  I have question brother, I had an datejust blue dial white gold bezel 41 oyster bracelet, how I know it is date just 2 or the newer model?

  Take the bracelet off the watch, the model number should be engraved on the top of the watch. Google the model number and you'll see if it is a DJ2 or DJ41. If you have the papers for the watch, you can find your model number there on the Rolex warranty card.

  Having gone to school for Rolex watch making and repair I can say this is a pretty good video but I would like to add a 2 things. 1) invest in a watch block. These are relatively inexpensive and provide far more confidence when adding / removing links as it will steady the watch thus allowing you to use both hands on the screw driver (one to turn and one to steady the shank) 2) we were thought to size glide lock clasps with the mechanism in a neutral position with a bias to outward adjustments with the exception being if the client intended on using the glide lock exclusively as the divers /wet suit extension and not for daily in the fly adjustment

  The Racing definitely has a thinner case due to the redesigned crystal on the back that is more sloped. The DSOTM case is basically the same as the old steel 44.25mm Speedmaster that the Cal.9300 debuted in

  VTNR = Green/Black bezel Left handed GMT, BLNR = Blue/Black GMT bezel, and CHNR = Chocolate/Black bezel.

  I have an 7 inch wrist, that's 9 setting on the glide lock, I'm on number 6 setting from the lowest, 6 o'clock side have 4 link and 12 o'clock have 5 link, can I add a link on the 6 o'clock side to get the lowest setting on the glide lock?

  Sure you can. It's your watch. But if you make it where your maxing out the glidlock it will prematurely wear out your braclet.

  I went to RSC, and they add 1 link on the 12 o'clock side and took out the half link on the glide lock side, now I'm on 3rd lowest from the 9th setting. It looks balance out .@@wcarterjohnson

  Your GMT may be a clone. You can tell by the blue reflection in the cyclops. It should be clear. Also the blend on the bezel is faded instead of a straight line.

  Why can't omega make watch like this with 13mm or less thickness!? This configuration could have been daytona killer. I would have gotten one as my every day watch. Everything else is done amazingly well.

  Because of three things: (1) It has a co-axial escapement, the movement is making the watch thicker (2) it has a date wheel, where the Daytona does not (3) some of that thickness is due to the elevated crystals on both the front & back of the Omega watch. Daytona crystal is leveled against the bezel in the front and has a closed caseback.

  Rolex must be using corundum as the pigment. It’s the only thing I can think of that looks blue and red under regular lighting and fluoresces under uv light.

  there are 2 icons of the tool watch world. One is the Sub, the other is the Speedy. If you are only getting one Omega, it has to be the Speedy.

  Very helpful. My 1985 16800 has never had a screw removed, so knew it would be tight. Hair dryer worked perfectly. Have seen a blow torch recommended...WTF! On a $15000 watch! Screwdriver fit properly, used a holder base to hold the bracelet and pressed down while using fingers from both hands to turn. Came out pretty easily. Thanks for the video!

  I noticed the other day, I was out on my bike looking at my Pepsi on my wrist. Then a Southwest Airlines flew over. If your close enough to watching southwest land. The blue on the ceramic bezel it’s exactly the same colour as the blue on the fuselage.

  Looks like 34-36mm is the perfect fit for you. I have small wrists, and have in my collection watches varying from 34 to 44mm. Obtained my 34mm OP in 2019 and literally haven't worn any of the other watches since. You should make your father's watch your daily. 👍
