I don't care what anyone says, origami king is still great, the music, the visuals, the bosses being art supllies, the writing and jokes were great, yeah the comabat system isn't the best (I would argue it's at least better than sticker star and even super paper mario), yeah, there is no companions, which kinda sucks, yes, Olly is not a super cool villain like some of the original characters we had before, but in the game context, I think he is fine. I honestly feel like since sticker star, paper mario has been climbing up slowly this hole of darkness it found itself in since super paper mario. and I'm gonna be honest, I get that the old games were beter, for sure, but man, the fans are a bit obnoxious

Next we will have Mario soulsbourne game
So on pv2 I recently redownloaded it, and in addition to levels and all that. The world progression is 100% linear. You have to complete every world all the way through before going to the next one. I remember when you had to beat the 1st gargantuar level to get a key, and when you could go to whatever world you want. Now going through the game feels like a slog... Anyways, very good video and I really like Pvz heroes
Funny thing, as i am german, the box art of New Super Mario Bros. DS did not even have the Giant Mario on its cover but if i remember correctly, it was just Mario and Luigi in a jumping Position

Besides paper mario sticker star all wii u era mario games even though they are not creative are still good games. that shows the quality of mario. But the Switch era Mario games are creative turning those games into masterpieces
Ngl bro was pretty right about the sticker star puzzles, I spent years trying to complete some of the puzzles and didn't get past em till I had internet access LOL. I've still not got 100% on the game because theres some puzzles Ive still not beaten to this day LOL

Hot take: Mario wonder wasn’t that good -the levels mostly all had the generic grass, desert, lava, etc. -the game is extremely easy, which in turn made it a very boring game (at least for me) -most of the levels are extremely short, meaning that the gimmicks in each of the levels are barely fleshed out at all -there is not very much content in the game since a lot of levels are really short and there are very few collectibles

This Take is ass There are plenty of Collectables with the sprites, purple, coins, and stickers Levels have a lot of variety and with great pacing and you replay them to get different stars they add in variation or make it longer for certain stars The Game is not easy and most of the Challenge is in special world especially the final badge challenge
They were unique takes on these themes though. The grass area alone had a forest, savannah, mountain, and a weird underground poison area, the Desert had white and gold sand with cubic architecture and a castle, etc. And then Shinning Falls and Fungi Mines were just extremely unique in general. I think the levels generally end when I want them to so I'd say they're the right length. New Super Mario Bros Wii and U dragged for me because of the level length Game is easy so that's fair. Personally, the mechanics, level design, and variety were fun enough for me to not really care. This is the most fun I've ever had with 2D Mario regardless.
Finally, a Mario Sports Mix enjoyer

Mario has never had an identity crisis, this is just how he was designed. Mario was made just to represent the player and that's how he's always been, even in smash, kart, tennis, etc... however if the games have weird, lame, shit then so would mario so who cares
