  Should a 4c hair person use conditioner to detangle their hair before going to you to do keratin.

  You could. The hair has to be cleansed with a deep cleansing shampoo right before applying product so the conditioner will get washed out

  Oh and just bought the PM Neuro iron...that thing is the BOMB! I like it better than Babyliss. Very underrated iron.

  I use Keracare shampoos but was thinking about trying this Affirm nourishing shampoo. I'm natural but i heat straighten regularly and Keracare is great for heat straightened hair as well. Thanks for the review.

  My hair was thick and had shoulder length. I used oxy keratin shampoo twice in two weeks , 4 year ago and my hair has never been the same since. It was coming out in batches when i wash, the strands had several knots. It still falls after 4 years but about 70percent less and the knots are now at the ends or closer to the ends. Came here seeking some suggestions.

  After a keratin treatment, wait 3 days or however long the manufacturer tells you to let it set, then you should do a deep condition. Keratin is protein and too much will make your hair brittle and break off. Conditioner adds back moisture to keep it soft and pliable.
