thats a good point! sorry to confuse you. Its well capable of cleaning muddy creek water if it has too but it will need cleaning every week at least. I take a very active aproach to my water supply, Im on the roof regularly, so I know whats going in, usually pine needles pollen and dust=(slimy mud) I check my water regularly for conductivity, magnetic particles, total dissolved solids (tds) and pH. Im lucky, Its pretty close to distilled water. massively better than the brew they force through the towns supply. because my kitchen water is gravity fed off the roof with no pump, I cant use a conventional filter and this system removes the mud that I find in the gutters low points and joins. I wash and scrub the pot inside when I do the dishes with really hot water then spray it with 25ppm colloidal silver. Its a small scale setup that was almost cost free, made from junk and it suits how we live. It's easily adapted to an emergency supply situation. when its all you have got.

yes- Ive replied to several people here telling them how it now has slight cogging, but still starts well. Its autumn here now and after having it sit almost stationary all summer its doing its stuff right now in the dark My batteries are topped off even though its been grey and rainy all day and the solar hardly contributed. Because both systems feed the batterys its hard to quantify the turbines contributions exactly. But standing watching the screen on a windy day Ive seen that it now feeds in at 2.2 amps on occasion - It seldom used to reach 1 amp charge before I added the extra magnets. Its theoretical output is 4.1 amps at max wind speed. I did witness an actual event where the blades reached terminal velocity and fribulated and I was there to see a momentary 4 amps on the screen

I also decided to standardize on the Ryobi platform a couple of years back. But thankfully I've only bought two tools. (Along with a charger and a couple of batteries.) Haven't bought any new Ryobi because I got busy with work. Now all I see is one KZread video after another showing just how cheaply made their tools really are. Oh, they'll work when brand new. But clearly these tools aren't built to last. Meanwhile, I see nothing but praise for Milwaukee. With only the odd tool being a disappointment. Yes, I know; same parent company as Ryobi, Ridgid, and Hart. (That last one likely even cheaper than Ryobi.) But clearly care and attention to detail is being paid when it comes to Milwaukee. Far more expensive, but _their_ tools (and even their batteries) last for a staggering number of years. I'm no contractor, and don't work for one. But I want tools that last! Not disposable tools. Heck, if that's the case, better to go to Wal-Mart and stock up on a bunch of Hart brand tools. Even more disposable than Ryobi and again, likely cheaper too.

Wrong. Alaska is NOT the home of the north pole. Not even close.

MIT recently published a study about using natural filtration as described in this video. Details on the study, along with lab results from a field experiment using swamp water are in a New vid from Clay Hayes.
