    Good stuff Mike. I was wondering where you planned on putting the snapper while you were on your kayak? Not at your feet with those bare toes, definitely not between your legs 😂. I guess in the net hanging over the side.

    Great video Mike ! The swans down by me are brutal man .. I fish at one pond where the swans can be on the complete other side and the second the male sees you he takes off and flies right at you ,landing 5 feet from you . He will sit there and not let you step in the lake .. I could understand if we went near the young ones but we avoid them at all costs .

    Always bring a scale. Rule of thumb is never believe a man without a scale. Gotta say 6 pounder

    21 and 1/2" , that's about 6 to 7 pounds on a good day . 1 pound for every inch over 17 inches . You count up to 17" as 1 pound .

    If your theory is correct that fish would be 4.5lbs but you are saying 6 to 7 pounds I’m confuzzled

    @@madoxmiller7904 on a good day it would be 6 to 7 at the height of the spawn . you count up to 17" as 1# . I caught a 5 pounder(weighed) this morning , it was 21 and 1/2" .

    Why would you automatically assume, just because it was in a laydown, that it was snagged? Bass are extremely easy to get out of most laydowns. The hook is almost always INSIDE the mouth. Just treat it as if there is no snag at all. If that fails, just let it swim out.

    Never seen that kind before huh? They are so abundant in certain places here in southern WV it's almost impossible to catfish without hooking them all day instead

    You do realize that is a common snapping turtle same as you find in lakes and ponds. Not sure why you are calling it a creek turtle other than that is where you found it.
