Hi Lily! Nice to meet you 🤗❤️ Thank you for your sweet comment. Yes I will definitely share the rest of my stash in a part 2. I was worried to get bad comments, as sometimes you see that with stash videos, but everyone has been so lovely and kind. The diamond painting I was looking for I actually found in the other room’s closet, and I added her in the app. The app shows 146 at the moment. I think I’ll still be below 160 in total. Not too rough. People with over 400 stashes is quite an overwhelming thought for me. But I have some cross stitch conversion patterns as well, just need to buy the drills and blank canvases, and then I ordered 2 new customs. 😊 Have a lovely day. Sending a big hug, xx ❤️

Thanks for the tip my friend! I go through plastic multiplacers quite fast as I’m a hard presser and they get those rough edges quickly. Instead of throwing them away I should try that and use them a bit longer! I hope these blue ones that look like a harder material will last longer. I don’t really love the metal tips, tried them all, the plastic ones are mych nicer to work with in my opinion. xx🩷
@@steffysdiamonds I love the pactic multi tips more than metals tips, I my 7 placer very much and broke two of them. I is also hard presser. ❤️❤️❤️
@irenemeyer6220 Yes! We are the same then. My favorite is also the 7 placer plastic tip. Luckily if you run out of them, ask Simone for more. She has those nice plastic ones (7 and 4 placers). I have also broken some. xx ❤️

Yes! I’ve seen DAC started making screw in metal tips, but I like working with plastic tips more than their metal ones, so I will definitely be trying them out! 😃💙

How do you still order from DAC? How does the shipping ect. Work now?
Hi Elmé 🌸 I use a parcel forwarding company. There’s quite a few to choose from. It is however very expensive and therefore I have slowed down. All of these companies gives you an international address. So you pay for the product including shipping and tax. The US states have their own tax, so you pay that. Then the delivery invoice including tax are sent to you to get to OR Tambo. Then you get a customs invoice to release your goods from last mentioned. And all of these payments except customs are in foreign currency. So to give an example, my last 2 imports cost me R12,000 each, excluding paying for the diamond paintings themselves, and I purchased 6 diamond paintings each time. It’s not maintainable, so I am currently on a no-buy. However I have a very big stash as I purchased a lot from DAC when they still shipped directly to SA. Now I look for destashes. There are some South Africans posting destashes every now and again on Facebook of their DAC kits.

@elmesmit2084 We have some great local suppliers which should be more affordable for you. Check out MTT Diamonds and Oh So Crafty. I have done a few customs with them (videos on my channel) showing their great quality. ❤️

Yes! Because mostly I get these small rolls with my gigantic canvases. And I end up using different colours because it’s not enough, freaking my OCD completely out of course. And I also love the purple tweezers! It’s a thing with DAC that there’s super rare pink tweezers in some kits. I haven’t found a pair yet. Always the black tweezers. So I’m loving these! 🥰💜 xx
You are obsessed with rings
Hi David, my love of rings are actually 4th on my jewelry list: I am madly in love with bracelets and charms first and foremost, then necklaces third, and then I guess rings and earrings which are both sort of equal at the bottom of the list and which I own the least of. But seeing as you can only see my hands in most of my videos, I can understand why you would think I love rings most. Thank you for your comment, I take it as a compliment!👌✨

So just something for the future (I found this out too late, because I would have done it for my grandparents).. Mom qualifies for a special vote! So they quite literally go to her to let her cast her vote. I think that's pretty cool. It took me all of 9 minutes to vote, in and out. They were quite well organised here by us (suprisingly!). I went to work after that since I was on study leave on Monday and two off days at month end is a definite no 😂😂 I recently got my first Art & Soul kit. Haven't unboxed it yet because well.. Life has been insane. Since I've ordered they have started doing hand rendering which I'm excited to see. Side note: LOVE this canvas and can't wait to see your progress!

Anyways before I go on a similar vent like dealing with SAPO….! 😖😜 Ooooh you must tell me how your shopping (and shipping) experience was with Art and Soul! I see they now started hand rendering. That would probably increase the price, but they have beautiful images and the rendering quality looks great. So I’d love to get a new one from them in future. (Versus my 2 I got way back from their previoys company, still love the rendering of those 2 as well! Thanks my friend, she is so beautiful, enjoying it so far! xx 🤗❤️

I've actually not opened my last shipment from My US yet, aside from checking that everything was there. It came in May 😂😂 'Nuf said? But when I do I will definitely show you. I've got some leave coming up next week (five glorious day of rest, that only cost me two days leave 😁) so maaaaaybe I'll unbox the then.. After I slept through the first two days.

Yes! You understand what I mean exactly with Uber! It’s taxi’s but private people. So even I can do that, you just register and then via an app people ask for a ride or pick up and you don’t know who you get as a driver and they use their own car! No there’s been some criminal incidents in the news at times. No no no. Woman alone, no I also don’t get in a car with a stranger! 😖 Yeah, the voting in Africa is hectic. Little things can make it better, but even the people needing to find your name struggle reading. It’s employment opportunities, I’m all for that, but it reminds me of my uncle who was a policeman (now retired) who’s ex cop friend who managed the local driving school told him a woman rocked up on a Thursday and asked for a driver’s license as she has never driven in her life but got a job as an ambulance driver starting on the Monday! 🤦🏼♀️ Yeah she failed that driving test.

I got the same large pink tray from KUK! my diamond stopper was super stiff at first and i had to keep rotating it to find a better way to insert it, but now it works very smoothly. I am so jelly that you got the purple one, i waited too long. That Halloween Firefly tray has a really cool design! I agree for the light blue/green oopsy tray I can't see anything that i would say was wrong with it other than maybe the slight imperfections on the surface.
Hehe I think I am happy with my pink and purple KUK trays. Pastel wise those are my fave colours. And it does cost a lot to buy off Etsy something so small and import to SA. So I’m not sure if I’ll get more soon. Never say never though lol! Yes! You know I love anything textured. And that Halloween tray half 3D-ish, so cool, love it! Those oopsy trays are a bargain! None of them I’ve found anything wrong that my OCD would freak out with. Their quality standards are crazy high if those trays of mine are oopsies! Love that about a company. Oh! My purple KUK tray I’ve been using with my big witchy custom, ie squares. Anyways, works really nice. But tx for saying, I struggled with the stopper but now after some use it’s smoother. Though I still can’t stick it in too deep, but that doesn’t bother me. As long as the drills can’t get out of the spout. And they don’t. I love the KUK trays rounded corners. They are so comfy to hold in your hand. I’m using my 1st Firefly tray now. The one with the dragon scales. That switch/glide stopper is something to get used too as well. So cool how each company’s are different. I like that, I use all my trays and pens otherwise I get bored. 🤭 Love and hugs my friend, xx 🤗❤️

Minette is baie involved in die hele proses en hou jou op hoogte, want soms is daar mos maar dinge buite mens se beheer, maar ek hou van die vinnige kommunikasie. Van die maatskappye oorsee vat tot 3 maande van bestelling tot aflewering (uitgesluit invoer). So ek is nou lekker bederf met Minette se vinnige turnover time. 😊

Hi my friend 🤗❤️ Oh wow, I haven’t seen the matching charm to the grapes ring, that sounds so lovely 🥰 Hehe from now on I will call it the grapes ring! 👌 It’s very fitting as we stay in the Cape Winelands area, there are so mamy wine farms around as and we love going for wine tastings and pairings 😊 That is a beautiful name for the rose ring: rose reminder. I love the oxidized details and twisted band ❤️ I was lucky with the grey moonstone. I love neutrals. I know the orange birthday blooms ring was once available but I did not know how to wear that colour, so I didn’t get it. Oh yes!! I was so surprised when the sales ladies said I could use my gift voucher in the 3x2 promo! I paid really little for these 3 items! Usually I like to maximize the savings of the 3x2 promo by getting 3 similarly priced items but even with the voucher it was just too much this month as with the new job I had to buy quite a few corporate clothing items, and they are not cheap, so I had to work with my budget. But I really wanted those 3 items so I’m very happy with them. The bracelet is so nice to wear! I first tried on that silver meshy heart clasp bracelet, but I struggled getting the bracelet on and off on my own, so then I remembered about this magnetic one and it was so easy to use on my own as it basically jumps into place when the clasp and end of thr bracelet comes near each other. 🥰 Thank you! As pretty as I find all the 3D printed trays out there, I'm a creature of habit: I found a tray I love in the Add More Zest trays and stopped buying or looking for anything else. My bank account is probs happy about that 😅 The dragon scale one is my favourite from this haul

Hi! Yes please let me know! Sam from KUK hosts cross stitch conversion events twice a year, in May and November. That’s when she usually makes special or limited edition colours. I recommend the large size as you can see it’s not as large as the Firefly trays. But they are so comfy feeling in the hand with the round corners, I really like them, something different. Oooh those Firefly trays are so cool with the stopper mechanisms and I love that dragon scaly one’s texture. I want to try the other typed as well! Goodness, I need to think of ideas for trays storage. They’re starting to heap up on the desk and in my toolbox. Thank you for your lovely comment, love and hugs! 🤗❤️ xx

So excited for you Steffy! I really hope your job is amazing and I admire your ambition! I've never felt that about any job and my creativity to me is who I really am. Although I enjoy being a community nurse and looking after my patients, I've never wanted to climb the ladder 🤣🤣
Thank you my friend 🤗 I have such a lot of respect for your career and the difference you make in people’s lives ❤️ I don’t know where this drive in me comes from, probably my dad who pushed me during my childhood as an only child to never sit still, I don’t know. Since his passing I started pushing myself very hard, trying to fill that void, keeping myself busy not to think too much. That’s the most reasonable explanation I can think of. I just need to keep growing and learning more and new things. That stimulates my mind. My crafting brings calm and silence to the million thoughts in my head, it will never be a business, which I love to see and hope that you one day can just primarily focus on that. Building your passion for crafting and creativity as a business. I’m thinking this year is a good start for both of us. Me a new job, you your new small shop business with Sarah. Very exciting! I don't know what bug this is, but I think we have the same thing. It's horrible and it won't go away! I've also wondered if it's Covid again. I've been struggling to diamond paint because of it with the headaches and body aches 🙄Thank goodness I put in leave for tomorrow, so I just have a three day work week 😂 And dealing with a sick cat. I'm so happy for you for your wonderful new adventure!
Thank you my friend ☺️❤️ Oh no, I’ve had body aches too, but that seems better. But the headaches and my tummy, just won’t get better! Maybe it is. Somebody at work told me their normally very energetic daughter in high school was heavy fatigued in bed for 2 weeks of which started as a tummy bug. The headaches feel like when I had Covid after my lungs were repaired and it was a heavy head cold but the headaches were terrible. Aaah no! I’m sorry to hear about your kieter kat. Maybe it’s because of the chair chewing…..🙊 I’m so glad I got a leave day on Thursday. So also a 3 day week.
