    Hi Jennifer, I have a Brother Entrepreneur Pro 1050X and am wanting to try the fast frames, when I put the camera on to see the cross hairs to line up with center on material, it does the trace design over on the left side to the middle of the fast frame? I tried to lie to the machine and select the biggest hoop but apparently I’m missing something? This is a brand new machine and they wouldn’t give classes where I bought it, they said to look it up on KZread, so any help would be greatly appreciated, ThankYou!

    Jennifer, is it feasible to use fast frames with water soluble stabilizer for free standing lace?

  • @jenniferallen2146
    @jenniferallen21467 жыл бұрын

    No. here is why- you wouldn't be able to get the WSS tight enough on the fast frame.I would use a traditional hoop and hoop the WSS so its sturdy & use my table.Hope this helps.

    sewingsmb you are welcome. the snowman feature is neat.i hardly use it unless im putting a name/design on corner of blanket. if you want to practice, 1)lay your design out on your blank. 2)mark your center.3) gently place the snowman sticker on that mark.(its easier to take of without shifting your blank & the sticker can b reused😉3) put your item on machine-push snowman button.it will line it up.😍😍😍

    Lol. The snowman feature is really neat! But I will let you in on a little secret,I mainly use it when Im stitching on an angle on blankets.I hardly use it for anything else. Does the trace take into account the space needed if you add a basting stitch around your design?

  • @jenniferallen2146
    @jenniferallen21467 жыл бұрын

    Hey Cortney-No.If you are using a Fast Frame,The arm on the machine is in its widest field.So the machine'THINKS' that you are using the widest hoop. You need to always double check the design-the edges in Fast Frames-always.You shouldn't need a basting stitch if you are using sticky paper.I hope this helps! Happy Stitching

    Friendly suggestion. The camera framing that begins at about 1:26 should have quickly switched to to a close up of the machine's control display. Move the camera back, set it lower than the machine's display panel, and zoom in. This would provide viewers with a much larger image to study as you demonstrate operation of this equipment.

    First are you in manual mode or automatic? How do you do the stop/pause? If you have say 21 colors, do you stop and reprogram for the rest of the colors? Is there a vid for that?

  • @jenniferallen2146
    @jenniferallen21467 жыл бұрын

    This machine has 10 colors. I just change colors for each design I'm doing.IF you are stitching a design for 21 colors, go ahead and change the colors on the design like you see in video- for the needles that you will be using for MORE than 1 color.write down on a piece of paper what needle you have said you will use for that color & have that thread waiting to be stitched.You will have to watch the machine so when you are ready to change that thread color,you can stop the machine.Otherwise,it will stitch the 1st thread color you have used.Hope this makes sense.

  • @jenniferallen2146
    @jenniferallen21467 жыл бұрын

    I love the fast Frames!!! I'm not a 'hooper" so they are perfect for me. There are newer frames that have come out that others like(i can not think of the name of them right now) they say they don't bounce as much,but I don't have a problem with my FF bouncing-I would not stitch without them! Hope this helps you.Happy Stitching!

    If you know the size of the design, why can't you use the snowman sticker...as long as the design falls within the frame space, wouldn't that work? I've never used my fast frames. Thank you for your video!

  • @jenniferallen2146
    @jenniferallen21467 жыл бұрын

    Hey Carol- You could use the snowman,but remember,the embroidery machine does not recognize Fast Frames & you don't want to hit the sides.I personally like checking the 4 corners.Then I'm not worried I know for sure it will not hit the metal sides. I was taught this way- I have used the snowman stickers a little bit- with towels but not on Fast Frames.If its easier for you & you are confident doing that method,there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Good Luck & Happy stitching!!

    The fast frames can work with the Brother PRS100 industrial SINGLE needle machine. I just bought this machine from authorized dealer and he sold these frames to me to use with this machine. I then went to KZread and heard from a few videos they "did not" work unless it was a multi needle machine. So I was confused and I called the manufacturer of the fast frames and they told me they DID work with my single needle. Apparently, the frame part that attaches to the machine is made in different lengths(widths) made for the different machines accordingly. Sorry this was so long. I tend to use a lot of detail. Wanted to share friendly info. Hope it helps!
