Septembers of Shiraz, the title evoked beautiful feelings in me which was inexplicable as I had neither feelings for September nor for Shiraz. Infact I liked October month a lot. That was why I liked movies like October Sky and even Sweet November. SoS was a very heavy movie to watch. Even then not once I felt like should I just stop watching it? Iran? Why should I be bothered? Nothing of that sort came into my mind although I was looking for ways to watch the movie completely because it wasn't at ALL easy for me to watch THAT level of torture. Just the thought that some people actually go through all that while living on the same earth as I did made my hairs stand on its end. I had my stomach feeling the hurts. SoS made me feel as if it was such a drastic change, that one day you lived a life king size and suddenly it all changed to a life of abuse & torture. It was so unbelievable. I liked the actors - all of them. As far as movie plot was concerned, I didnt know much world history but read about it later. Entire week I was partly unconscious. I didn't know I had a thing for torture and abuse until I could complete SoS movie and was reminded how many I had watched already that had torture. Conclusion was: I was attracted to such movies.

I missed out watching this in theatres when it came out in 2017 and finally saw it on Netflix. It was giving me vibes like 13 reasons meets groundhog day. And didn't realized it was based on a book so I finished the book and loved the book. I was disappointed the half the materials were filmed and the other half wasn't. I call that BS! But the movie was okay, not great though.

Translation: Interviewer: We are at the galla premiere of the movie "Der kommer en dag". It's an incredible film about two young boys who are brought to an ophanage in Denmark in the middle of the 1960's. It's an incredible film, and I have rarely seen child actors as great as in this film. I want to start by saying congratulations on the movie to both of you. (Talking to Harald:) how was it for you to star in this movie? Harald: it was crazy! Very crazy. And it was also a lot of fun. Interviewer: Did the adult actos take good care of you? Harald: Yes. They were very kind, and they helped me all along. Interviewer: There are lots of hard scenes in the movie. How do you act in such hard scenes when you are a child? I wouldn't know how to get my young kids to act in scenes like these. What did Jesper (the director) tell you? Harald: He gave me small tips, and normally we would do it like this: first we would do the scene as I wanted it to be, and then afterwards he would tell me what he thought I could do better. So both of us worked. Interviewer: That is so cool. I want to tell you, that I haven't seen children act so well since I watched movies in the start 90's like "Drengene fra Sankt Petri" and such. You are on the same level as that, so congratulations. I also want to ask you some questions, Sofie. Why is it important to make this movie? Sofie: There are multiple reasons for that. It's a very powerful script and a powerful story. Also after we met the real former orphanage-children it gave an extra dimension, making this an important story to tell all of us. Interviewer: How is it for you, having lot's of experience, to act along children who don't have acting experience? Sofie: It's been great to act with all of them, and I've particularly come close to Harald here. And right before when you (Harald) told us how you worked with Jesper (director), that's also how I work with Jesper and how I work with most directors. There's not really any difference. The most incredible is, that I've never seen a child actor, and you definitely are and actor (talking to Harald) who dives so deeply into the story as you did, so that was very inspirational. Interviewer: Incredible. Good luck, and thank you for making such a good movie, Harald. You should be very proud!.

Man this movie is literally a plot twist. They really give us Roller-coaster emotion starting from sweetness to sadness to sociopathiness lol. Bella Thorne is not only a sweet singer but A talented and HOT actress too. God her booty was lit in this film. Netflix put a really nice job putting this legendary cast together.
