Welcome to the Back Pack Hack channel!
I created this channel so I could help those who wish to learn some of the tricks, tips and ideas (commonly called 'hacks' today) to help them enjoy their outdoor activities more.
If you're an avid outdoors type, and enjoy activities such as camping, hiking, backpacking, hunting, fishing or even if you're a (SHTF) prepper, you're sure to find something here of interest to you. Not all videos will apply to everyone, but stick around and wander through some of the ideas I'm putting forth.
Take advantage of learning some of the ideas I've collected over the past 40-odd years. Remember, I created this channel for your benefit. So be sure to like and subscribe, share and comment!

Thanks for you advice, i should of thought of that
I just got mine reading through the directions is there a way to set charge limits? I just ordered a couple of new flashlights and didn’t notice when I ordered that there wasn’t a usb charge port you have to have charger..then I watched a video on the specific battery and it says not to charge past 3.7 but the battery at full charge is over 4 I think..idk
Hopefully you were wearing a mask. Breathing rust is not good for you.
I did this 30 years ago in the army. And forgot how to do it. Thanks (73)

Really well made presentation!! Appreciated it a lot thank you my good sir.
I know that this video is older, but is there a way to get to this information today? Thank you!
Follow the link in the description.
🤭 you forgot that carrying the extra weight of food makes you tired. If you didn't have to carry all that extra weight you can go a longer distance. ( like a get home bag, you will have to carry bottled water, you can option out on how much your food weight. According to distance likely to travel) like accrost town or another county( 30 min drive can be a 2 day walk,)
Wow, that's a neat trick. Thank your for sharing it!
Thank you for this relevant and enlightening video.
If you get really hungry you wont worry about how something taste,Most of us don't know what real hunger is
Yes, I hear that all the time. Bit that's a total cop-out IMHO. Why store stuff you don't like when it's just as easy to store things you DO like?
Do you know what size binding post to use for 1.75 (90lb) cord
Great video. Good info. Many thanks.
One strand of inner paracord seems a bit too weak. Last thing you want is for the lanyard to break and then you're screwed. What about some microcord?
No-offense meant. But to be efficient and combat worthy you've gotta be un good cardiovascular health and fit. Especially when it comes to hands on fighting with a firearm. Train daily and stay in shape. My tip to you.
What's the most reliable automatic? How many shots are needed in the average situation? What is the cost differential between the two? Which one is easier to carry? Nice video. Thanks.
One thing. That's not a shrouded hammer, it's a fully enclosed hammer/internal hammer/"hammerless" revolver. The S&W 638 is an example of a revolver with a shrouded hammer. The hammer is shrouded to eliminate snag potential but you can cock it and fire the revolver single-action if you need to. The "hammerless" revolvers are double-action only.
thanks for this man
I own several Wiggy's sleeping bags of various weights, from a 70degree summer bag to a 60degree below 0 degree artic sleep system. they by far the best made bags, period, no exception. not only are they warm but can be washed many times to keep their loft and great feel. i can not say enough about Wiggy's quality and they are made here in the USA. I put my money where my mouth is.
The effort put into the cut leg scene is great, I really enjoyed this video. Can I ask what’s the best size for a bandana, are they all standard sized or is there a preferred size most people use?
Those big zippers were common in the older 70's Down Sleeping bags. Older Military field jackets had them as well. I just picked up a Hinter rectangular hooded model today in mint condition from my local SAVERS Thrift store for $8.50 with the Wiggy's compression sack.. It's a beast but It's a small with 31" width, I'm pretty wide in the shoulders. Been wanting one for years.
Having had the pleasure of camping with our video host, and given the opportunity to examine, first hand his E.D.C... I have to say that it is very encouraging to see a KZreadr walking the walk. Point of fact, these events occurred before I found out that he had a channel. I have to admit, I was rather tickled, upon returning home, and watching this video... to recognize each piece of this kit! Really lends a certain validity to his reviews, in my personal opinion. I later recognized the tent he was camping in, as well...
Eh... point number two only sounds relevant to criminals. Otherwise, it should not matter if you leave brass behind. Though, not spitting out the brass is ideal for reloaders.
What if someone grabs the cylinder? It won’t function.
Great video. Really good points made.
very nicely built. One thing that you really need is a fan. that radio gets pretty hot get you self a computer fan small to be able blow out the box. yea all that steel will keep the heat in. Then you'll lose the finals to the radio. god luck
Heat rises right into the void then flows out. So a non-issue.
NEVER HAD A REVOLVER MISFIRE. SEMIAUTOMATIC…….YES!
Thank you!!
I found on Mac that SiteSucker worked perfectly to download it all in the directectory structure with one click. I couldn't figure out Jdownload to do it all automatically. @backpackhackThanks for doing all the work of organizing all this. Seems like this would work good as a torrent also. I've never created one but I'm sure I could figure it out. @backpackhack, let me know if you would like me to set that up.
So simple! Why is this not a common recommendation!? THANK YOU!
Like the pipe cleaners, neon "tape", and clipping a piece of fabric. Again, many good cheap options that also pack/travel well & aren't prone to theft. Kudos!
Cut the loose end that will thread through the buckle at a 45 degree angle instead of straight across. It makes it much easier to thread, especially with wet, cold fingers.
I bet you could duct tape a card holder, like they sometimes give you with new debit cards, to the lid to slide the card into for easy storage and access...
Best revolver vs SA video
I know this is an older video but the information is still up. I was able to get logged in and see all the files. Can you provide any assistance on what settings for jdownloader you use. When i try to use it, it only downloads one level deep and puts everything into a single folder, destroying your entire folder structure.
THOSE ARE MRC NOT MRE LEARN THE DIFFERENCE THOSE NEED WATER AND MUST BE COOKED UNSUBSCRIBED
Too bad you're so easily triggered. Your money will be cheerfully refunded.
@@BackPackHack you need to start telling the truth
Great review…thanks. I purchased it and am pleased with its functionality. One thing that still confuses me is that the owners manual says to push the power button to turn the unit on or off. I see a power button for the radio and one for the flashlight but not one to turn the unit on/ off. Where is the units power button?.
Thank you for your video production! EVERY instructional video should be produced with the outcome FIRST and then the process of how you came to the end result afterwards. I despise watching a video for several minutes only to find that it doesn't cover what I'm searching for. This is a very informative video. THANK YOU.
The only trouble with USB power while DXing is its noise on shortwave.
what did you use for a battery ?
15Ah SLA battery.
rey bubble
Very nice video
Great video , i need am going to practice now.
Thank you
If you want to die, BUY promags. Worthless and beyond. A company so worthless they would sell an inferior product that could get you KILLED. I tried them. THEY SUCK. Not worth one cent. Guns are vicious tools and promags are viciously inferior .
Thank you for helping me open this can!
We used this same method in the Army flying helicopters so the map would be more manageable in the cockpit.
Hey! Good to see a video
Very good thorough review
I honestly opt for gators now. Way more useful for me.
