Metal Never Dies with Mark Arruda
Metal Never Dies with Mark Arruda
I am the vocalist for the metal band, Aquila from Hamilton Ont Canada.
It's a great hobby that I take pride for over 20 years playing in bands in the Ontario scene. You can check out our stuff at www.aquilametal.bandcamp.com
I am busy man with a family life and work as well. I will be releasing some vocal material, songs from Aquila and other projects.
Also I will review some videos on reviewing metal albums and talking about some albums. It's a challenge for myself to interact more.
This is just for fun. I'm not trying to make money or think I'm the next big thing. I'm hopefully connect with musicians especially other vocalists. Help each other out and send each other tips. That's the goal. If you want to work with me and collaborate on some music please email me at

I’ve actually been listening to this one recently. Somebody had posted on Facebook, which two out of the four. It was Exodus, Metallica, Kreator, and Flotsam and Jetsam
Who knew so much grunge came out of Canada? Thanks for making and sharing, brother there’s a lot of records on here that I have never heard before that. I can’t wait to now. 🤘🏽🤘🏽
@@jamesgwarrior1981 ya brother. Check them out. Killer grunge scene back in the day in Canada. 🇨🇦
Check out Lovebites dude...
I despise black metal,, yet for some reason I can tolerate Behemoth (only few of their songs tho' ). Oh and about Incantation, for me it is the same. I just don't get them.
Check the band BURDEN CALLED GOD. Enjoy
@@wimvanheck8589 Cool. I will. Thanks
Same here Amon Amarth I just cant seem to click , great video! Love Incantation😀
@@ernestomendoza3820 thanks man. Sometimes it’s clicks and sometimes it doesn’t. Cheers
One way I've gotten into tricky albums is, start with the very last track, play it a few times then work your way backwards. Seems to help. But if you don't like a band, that's a totally different thing.
@@huwmorgan74 that’s interesting. I usually listen to the first half and then I’ll start the in the middle and listen to it that way. Seems to work sometimes. Cheers
Interesting video idea. I've found myself have this dilemma with bands before, you want to like the band more, but you just can't. Amon Amarth is a band I think certainly has some good songs, but I just couldn't get entire the entire albums, but definitely a talented band. So I have the same feelings you do on Amon Amarth. Maybe switch to decaf hahaa, nice line.
@@AndrewSennedra 😂 ya man. There’s just some bands that just doesn’t click with you for some reason.
Coal Chamber are sick , devil deiver have a couple of cool tracks but coal chamber is a way better band
@@Burningwitch616 ya coal chamber had its cool moments. Their first album is a nu Metal classic
@@MetalNeverDieswithMarkA I actually prefer chamber music and dark days The first album is cool but I cant stoo playing chamber music. I believe korn got massive influence from it for their album untouchables. Chamber music is more unique though. Dark days is just a masterpiece from starg to finish Both albums hold a special place to me Dez lyrics helped me understand life more and the bass on these records is some of the best I've heard in metal Meegs guitar also sounds incredible very synth like sounds and totally unique. The choruses on dark days are also unreal. I dont believe coal chamber really get the credit they deserve and I hope they produce another album now they're touring and "nu netal" is kingdom of a thing again especially with kittie dropping a record recently
I never used to like Incantation either but now I really like them. But I understand why you don't. I can't get into Deicide at all! But we all can't like everything!
@@georgegsroomofrock9868 sometimes an album clicks for you. Like Possessed I was never into possessed then I listened to beyond the gates and I like that album. And then I got into 7 churches more and more. One of those things I guess. Cheers G
I can't get into Incantation either But some other bands that i just can't get into are Voivod Nile Iron Maiden Emperor Darkthrone Bathory Deftones
@@shanetsung3558 yes Nile is another one for me too.
Just ask for Mike Adriano to produce the next album of any of those bands and after that you'll surely put them as "Masterpieces", "Greatest of all time". 😂
The last Incantation album didn't do much for me. I'm a fan of DevilDriver, but I don't listen to them that much these days. Never cared for Amon Amarth either. Cheers Mark
@@mrboulder9714 Cheers mate. You should do a video of this. I would be very interested.
We don't absolutely care if you don't like new Incantation. Now, if *you* don't like old Incantation, AND EVEN THINK YOU ARE A DEATH METAL FAN, you really have some problems to solve in your life.
I'm surprised you couldn't get into Incantation and Amon Amarth. Those bands sounded right up your alley.
@@tainted_lord87 I tried. I really tried. 😂

@@headbangerscloset8552 I really like the last unearth album. It’s a real return to form. But I get what you mean, after the 4th I lost track. Cheers buddy

Crypt Sermon are one of my favorite modern Doom metal bands that does the Candlemass/ Saint Vitus worship style of extreme music so incredibly well.

Great picks! This was a good month for sure. Some of my picks: - Never Arrive, Never Return (Cadaverous Condition) - Live In Amsterdam (Within Temptation) - Encrypted (Nightmare) - One And Only (Anvil) - A Fortress Called Home (Seven Spires) The Ghost movie was also really good...
