  Whatever. I climbed Everest last year in my flip flops and a vest. Then I opened a kebab shop at the top. That’s why you see all the queues at the summit.. Ask any climber. Once you reach the top you’re always gagging for some grilled meat, chilli sauce and a couple of tins of cheap lager. I’m currently running ‘Frostbite Fridays, where I’ll throw in some falafel.

  Most people who die on high mountains like Everest and K2, don't die from the cold, though many do, death is usually caused by brain swelling that causes altitude sickness, confusion and immobility, and that results in the person dying from the cold as they remain motionless and unable to continue their ascent or descent..Climbers are warned in advance that if they get into trouble at a very high altitude, rescue may not be possible.

  Mount Everest is only classified as the highest mountain peak in the world because it is measured from ground level to it's tip. But there are mountains that are bigger than Everest if you could measure them from below sea level to their peak.

  Fellow electrical engineer as well. Yes, even a seasoned electrician and or field guy can be hurt/killed while having knowledge of the voltage ratings. It is that easy to ground yourself in a panel or accidentally touch something. Also, in some high voltage situations such as utility disconnects, dust across the phases can cause arcs and implosions when the circuit is turned down/on. That is why many electrical rooms will have a small amount of positive pressure to keep the air dust free and clean. I do not recommend anyone play with high voltages such as these for art projects. These types of ratings need to be respected and always handled in a controlled environment. The guy posting this video is right. Do not attempt this at home. Just let it go and move onto something safer. It is not worth your life.

  @bleh8583 I don't think anyone should be allowed to climb it. The Sherpa people depend on it though. There are places in this world that if you choose to go to, your chances of death are far more likely than living. Humans are very good at turning places like that into places of just pure evil. The disregard for life leaves an indelible mark. The Blue hole in Dahab Egypt, Pripyat/Chernobyl, Auschwitz, The Congo,The Mica mines of India,Gaza, The Paris Catacombs,Gettysburg ect. When you go somewhere that humans tragedy has happend,you can feel it.
