Ang agreement po namin ng business partner ko, since ako mag mamanage ng business, may salary ako aside sa profit/loss sharing. Ask ko lang po paano po magiging tax dun sa salary ko sa business?

  Hi Ysza, congratulations! ^_^ In my view, audit/assurance/advisory has equal chances. What makes you marketable to be taken abroad is being "different" from the rest. I recommend going into a company with a lot of international affiliates din. If kaya, BIG 4. For me, I think the reason why I got a job abroad din is because I tried to be different. I really try to operate 2 levels beyond my role (i.e. I was a junior pero I worked like an AM). I also didn't let external situations get to me but I do my best out of any circumstance and get things done. Opportunities will come once your quality of work is high. By God's grace naman I got an offer. =) Kaya mo din yan! just do ur best.

  @@lyle6699 no problem. Sa audit as far as I know yes but dapat BSA ka. Altho, I think better try sa advisory instead of audit if you already havr accounting experience.

  Hello, welcome back. I wouldn't change anything in my view since I passed with 83.83% already. I did my best during that time with the resources I have and it was sufficient for me to pass and be a good CPA currently. If there is something I'd do before that is different it would be to enjoy college life. Passing the CPALE is sufficient regardless of your grade. In the long run, the relationships you build and your capacity to maintain them matters more than any examination.

  Sir, may itatanong ako, malayo ito sa topic mo ngayon, pero may connection ‘to sa Accounting. About Debit and Credit. Bakit magkasama yung Assets, Expense at Drawings sa Debit at bakit magkakasama ang Lia’, Equity and Income sa Credit? Kasi ‘di ba ang Assets at Income ay Cash Inflows at yung Lia’, Expenses at Drawings ay Cash Outflows. So mayro’n bang malalim na reason or mali lang yung view ko sa Debit and Credit?

  This is perhaps the best question I got from this channel! Well, as per my PhD from before, she said that debit and credit simply meant left (debit) and right (credit). In my view though, there is a logical reasony why Asset, Expense, and Drawings are on the Debit side and Liability, Equity, and Income are on the credit. In my personal view, you can view that a debit depicts an Asset while credit depicts Liabilities and Equity. So bakit kasama ang expense and drawings sa asset if technically they decrease asset itself? Simply because of the logic of double entries. Imagine, an expense paid with cash, you will have: Debit: Expense Credit: Cash (Asset) If gagawin mong credit ung normal balance ng expense, double entries would be meaningless. So more on mathematical siya. But I have another way to go about this but it will be too technical and super complicated. So I rather explain the mathematical for now. Again, good question. Keep asking questions like this and you will be successful not just in the boards but also in life.

  If reader ka, read. Tapos maghanap ka ng online resources na makakatulong maconnect ung pinagaralam to real life situations. For example, if pinagaaralan niyo consolidation, hanap ka ng IFRS guidance from Big 4 publications and basahin mo yung recommendations nila. Okay lang doble effort, if hindi malalim pagturo ng concepts, no choice but to push hard. yung doble effort will pay off sa boards and once magwork kana. Kaya mo yan! =]

  Slr. Normal mabilis makalimot if hindi interesting or mababaw ung understanding sa topic. Kaya napakaimportant ng self study and finding real life applications ng inaral. Also, test yourself sa concept by asking ung treatment on "what if" questions. You know ur stuff if kaya mo ituro din ito sa ibang tao. So try to teach others ung concepts din. Kaya mo yan!

  I graduated 2022 and passed the October 2023 LECPA, first take with 4 months review while working and with 80+ average. I agree with you, real life experience really helps a lot. In fact, naiimagine ko yung mga clients ko na nahandle ko before while answering the boards especially sa tax.

  6 digits w/in 3 years? Very highly improbable unless: 1. You work abroad ( first world countries) 2. You become an accounting manager #2 is very highly unlikely because you would have to have at least 10 progressive years of accounting experience. Trust me, walang local company mag ooffer ng six digits for junior accounting or senior accounting or even supervisorial role with only 3 years of experience. I've been with companies like Accenture, AXA and JP Morgan Chase in the span of 10 years. Six digits within 3 years is an impossibility for these companies.

  My friends/acquaintances did it but yes it's very difficult. Usually mga top notch students with good educational background and internships. They also don't belong to any of the companies you mentioned. Definitely not accounting roles but more on niche consultancy or managerial levels sa MNCs.

  Sir 10yrs na ako sa banking sa pinas pero sa 10yrs ko stress lng po naipon ko. And ngbabalak ako lumipat jaan sa SG hindi nmn ako mamili ng mataas na work agad kung anu lng muna pede ok nako don khit sa admin or office work lng muna. Possible po ba ang tourist then hanap ng work din jaan
