@@FrankRapkeMusic yes man thank you, great info. I've been using Cubase since 1997 and still learned some cool new things. The page numbers have always been weird for me. @@FrankRapkeMusic Wow after a lot of experimentation this is what I found! You must select Page Text and also make sure it's Green by holding down control and selecting "Insert to project layer". Because it's page text, the L in the Score settings does not affect this. So it's working now. Many thanks again!

Hello, to make the dynamics have functions as such in the score and not as a symbol, is there a configuration? Greetings from Argentina, very good tutorial!
@FrankRapkeMusic2 ай бұрын
Hi - thank you for your nice comment! There ist one thing you have to keep in mind: only the dynamics mapping section (not the dynamics section) has a direct effect on the way the notes are played by a VSTi. So if you select a symbol of that section an place it in your sheet music you will also find the same symbol in your key editor in the bottom line if you select "articulytion&dynamic symbols". This will also change the volume of the playback loudness. But I have to admit that I am not 100% sure if this works with every VSTi - maybe some are not capable of following these informations... I hope this explains it! Cheers

Hi Sekrit Skworl. I hope I do understand you correct - then: yes as far as I know you can not change the length inside the click pattern! Hello, I have a track with 2 MIDI inserts. Chorder and Arpache 5. When I open Score Editor I cant seem to find the sequence of individual notes made with Arpache 5. Is there a way to read the MIDI inserts changes with Score Editor? I cant seem to find any info. @FrankRapkeMusic Жыл бұрын
Hi Andrés. That I can't say for sure. But the way I understand these midi inserts tells me you probably can't do that. I guess you have to change these notes (so the ones coming from your inserts) into an existing midi track first and then you can see them in the score editor. I'm not sure how your setup works but try sending your midi track to the input of another midi track or use the midi insert "record output to track" function... Hope this works, Cheers!!

Thank you so much
You're welcome 😉
very appreciate your jobs. thank you very much!
Thank you for another perfect video 🙏 🙏
Thank you so much.Great video!!!!!
Hi Arie. Thank you - I'm glad you like it 😉
Hello, I have a track with 2 MIDI inserts. Chorder and Arpache 5. I made a basic sequence of chords with 1 note from chorder and modified it to a single note melody with Arpache and i need score editor to display the melody made with Arpache 5. When I open Score Editor I cant seem to find the sequence of individual notes made with Arpache 5. Is there a way to read the MIDI inserts changes with Score Editor? I cant seem to find any info. Thanks a lot.
Thanks for the video. Just a suggestion next time it would be better to change the language to English for recording the video. Thanks again
Thanks!😁
Hi, how can I set the quantise for Tuplets please? If I want 7 beats over 4 for example.
Hi Jack. It is actually quite simple: select your notes>go to scores>built n-tuplet. Here you can insert the tuplet you wanna have (so for ex. 7/4) - and that's basically it. But before doing so I would suggest quantising your midi notes in the keyeditor: quantise panel>set tuplets to 7>quantise. (I don't know if you need that - just wanted to mention it...). Cheers
@@FrankRapkeMusic Thanks, I forgot to look in that menu! I love Cubase but it does have buttons absolutely everywhere!
@@jackjackdaw5065 Yes - that's kind of true. It's nice that you can achieve things from everywhere but it's hard not to lose yourself or forget all of the possibillities...
Yeah! ✌🏻🙂 Sounds very sophisticated! I have to check it out! Good work, my friend!
Oh Manu - don't put to much pressure on me!! 😅😅😅

14.24
Hej, is there sth wrong? I don't get it... what does 14.24 exactly mean?
@@FrankRapkeMusic Here I stopped to go back and watch. Already finished it, I'm moving on to the second part. Thank you for your work, it really helps to master the score editor!
@@lntellectualrap1522 😂 Thats actually pretty smart! You're welcome - I'm happy you can find some usefull thoughts here!
Great blues Frank 🎼🎵🎶🎶🎸👌👌
Thx Edgar!
Thank you for this nice overview of the Cubase Score!
Well done playing 😎👍🎸 Subscribe
Appreciate the effort that goes into making these tips!
Very informative. You’re a great teacher! Thanks!
Well thank you, Keith - I appreciate it! Cheers
7:24 .. wait you have to do delete them by hand ??? !!!
Wait - what? I have to work myself?? 😂 Just kidding - no you don't have to do that. I did it and now as you mention it: I don't know why I did that... If you go to audio>advanced>delete overlaps cubase will do the work for you means: everything but your selection will be deleted! Thanks for the hint - I should have mentioned that! Cheers
Thank you! This is the best review of the Ampero Hotone I have seen so far.
Thanx, Andrea! That's very kind of you! ✌
What do I do when inside my Single track my quantize enters grid and refuses to return?
Hi Vitalis. I'm not sure that I understand your problem: you opened your track right? Now are you working on midi or audio? do you mean you cannot change the quantize settings? or do you mean you cannot undo your quantize function?
@@FrankRapkeMusic i can't change the quantize setting when it enters into grid instead of e.g 1/2,1/4,1/8 etc
@@vitalispatrick6387 I can't say for sure if I can't see it - there is to many possibillities... Open the quantize settings window and try different options (activate/deactivate safe range or catch range) or maybe try starting cubase in the safe-mode and see if it is different there!
my acoustic feedback button doesn't seem to work. I still can't hear when manually place a note. And I didn't hear yours either. Sorry I'm new to cubase lol.
Hi Christel. You're right - you can't hear mine because I didn't bother to route it to the video recorder... Sry for that. You should easily be able to hear it, there is nothing special needed! Make sure your track is not muted and it is routed to a VST-i and your outputs are set correctly! Do you use the Control Room?
@@FrankRapkeMusic I actually figured it out. But I'm going to switch to Dorico and uninstall Cubase. I found out that for score editing, Dorico is more of what I need. Thanks for your help!
this is crazy... where's the playback options? like the play button, the pause, the stop... where's that most simple and obvious thing I need? lol
Hej, you can just play and pause/stop with your normal functions - so I mean use the spacebar. If that is not what you want then you could still open the transport panel (pressing F2) and just place it somewhere so that you can still see all your score - hope that helps!! 😉
