Real shame these Krackers did not talk to the experts for Polynesia before they set out and went from the wrong direction. Polynesian explorers were the best in the world, if you want to chart a connection to the Americas then you start with the Polynesians and ask them, they would tell you that you are sailing the wrong way. Polynesian Americas links went from Polynesia to America, not the other way around and what makes me laugh is that the Polynesian narratives on travel are so detailed and specific, yet White people come along and ignore the facts as presented by the greatest sailors the world has ever seen or will ever see.

Such a shame to see those massive trees fall. Nonsense. Noticing how inferior and difficult it was to find decent timber/bamboo makes me understand the predicament we're in as compared to the builders generations ago. The poison in the air from the 24/7 chemtrailing/pollution in our atmosphere has degraded the earth's natural ability to provide the superior yield of years gone by.

Look back in time and they were killing and raping the natives till the natives learned new songs to greet the next waves of idiots that would be coming a shore ...thank God they had their own families to fuck and that their government had already violently conquered these people for a great television production

It is a wonderful documentary over a wonderful adventure. I still have mixed feelings, though, wondering if the usefulness of proving the possibility of human voyages accross oceans was worth the falling of beautiful trees, at a time when every tree counts. Just my opinion, of course. Respect to the leaders and many thanks for sharing this film in any case!

I have this weird feeling everytime I watch these dangerous and challenging journeys using ancient vehicles. Despite of being battered in the breakers, Kon Tiki still saved a boy's life. Maybe that was her destiny.
