  I've got A 83 firebird v8 base Manual trans. T tops. power nothing. it's A factory heater car. It weighs 3199 full of gas. So with me its 3450,ish. Anyway, I have 235 60 15s. (grandprix) and it locks up every time, under hard braking. My Questions are my tires too narrow? Just bad tires? Is there A size that prevents lock up? Not sure when or if these cars ever got ABS. but I do not have ABS.

  Brakes will generally overpower tires everytime. But wider tires will help. Could be a brake proportioning issue where the rears are locking up first

  @@EssMotorsports I put A Wilwood adjustable proportioning valve on it. and its fairly balanced. but usually its the front now.

  Thank you bro🙏 I’m having all sorts of electrical problems . I did this and it’s at least running . Not really a car guy but they tried to charge me 400$ to change an alternator so I bought a tool set and KZread instead. These type of videos sure help

  You are wrong about the vent hose and connection. All interior mounted batteries require a vent hose. My 2016 2SS came with an AGM battery and it had a vent on it. The vent pipe connection is an elbow and I left mine in the old battery. It fits in a hole on the side of the battery. My Interstate AGM replacement battery has a vent hole on both sides. You have to remove the old vent from the old battery and then install the little elbow that the vent hose hooks to. NO BODY MENTIONS THIS ON ANY VIDEO I HAVE SEEN. Yes, the AGM battery requires a vent hose! I am shocked by the number of wrong answers on this. Good luck finding anyone who even has a clue SO DON'T LOSE THE OLD FITTING!!! MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE IT FROM THE OLD BATTERY or else you can buy a new complete vent hose assembly for $28 from dealer!

  Do these brakets bring the alternator down or closer to the engine? we are doing a ls swap on a 1970 el camino and the hood doesnt close due to the alternator being too high

  @javinhandy1068 it's a Valentine V1 Gen 2, bought directly from valentine. Pair with JBV1 if your android user and it's really good system.

  It is not a drain hose! It is a vent hose and ALL interior mounted batteries(AKA trunk) are required by Federal Law to have a vent hose!! My 2016 2 SS has one and the fitting that mounts to the battery and attaches to the hose must be removed from the old battery!!! If you don't, you will have to buy a new complete vent assembly for $28.

  ALL batteries, AGM or Lead Acid, people are mistating that AGM batteries do not need the vent hose. Wrong! My new INterstate AGM replacement battery has a vent hole on both sides where the fitting goes.

  @bloodstorm1231 run the vehicle and watch which way it rotates under normal operation at idle. Then u know which way to rotate it

  I have 2013 chevy camaro v6 idk if my passenger side pcv valve needs to be drilled out or did they fix it on my year? Plus I can't find a single pcv fitting for 2013 ive looked everywhere

  It's probably built into the valve cover. Fixed orfice.

  @kamranrahmatnejad5640 no I don't think they did. The radio usually has a little capacitor to hold memory functions

  Quick question: I have a 97 TA and when i take it to the pump it only fills 3/4 before tripping the pump. Would doing the process shown in the video fix my issue? If not, what would you recommend i do?

  @Brnanabird I'm not sure if it would fix problem or not. Easy thing to try tho. Almost sounds like air is not purging from tank and kicking off early.

  hey boss I have a 2019 Camaro ss and I added the extra ground wire in the front same as you but now my power steering is out. Do you know how to reset it? I undid the ground wire I added and my power steering is still off.

  @alexbenavidez1142 do u have an error message or something? Not really sure, sounds like a separate issue as adding a ground wire doesn't mess with steering. Did u leave the original ground? Since steering is electric it's like it got disconnected

  @@EssMotorsports it’s saying to Service my Electronic Power steering drive carefully. I also removed the negative battery and let it sit for 30 min and the issue is still occurring with the extra ground wire removed. I don’t think there’s a fuse for our power steering correct? I checked the fuse box and don’t see anything related

  @alexbenavidez1142 yeah I don't see a fuse listed. It does sound like a wiring issue if it happened when adding ground. I'd look at steering rack electriclal connector or something that came loose? Just adding another ground doesn't affect steering. So something else is not connected or going on.

  I love the way it sounds, I have some on my camaro as well. I feel like it’s gonna blow off the stock muffler for some reason, and I just started to notice this like rattling coming from the muffler I believe when driving.

  Yes otherwise there is tension on the belt and pinch the bolt.

  Thanks! It's just an ls1 tensioner, dayco. But I actually just swapped out the pulley for a high edge pulley so I don't have belts flying off.

  @mrc1018 the new pulley I just swapped on the ls1 dayco tensioner is 12703922 Diameter is the same but higher lip to keep belt on

  I see, we purchased the same kit and I have the tensioner with the three bolts mount and instead of replacing the whole part for a two bolt I am going to cut that bracket off and reuse what I have.

  @mrc1018 I believe the truck tensioner spacing is wrong. That is why the ls1 style tensioner is needed.
