Step 1: Turn the left and right handwheels clockwise at the same time to reduce distance between two rollers and make sure there is no gap between the two rollers. (How to judge whether there is a gap? Use a light to illuminate the gap, observe whether there is light passing through.) Step 2: Install the digital dial indicator and reset it. Step 3: According to the process requirements, turn the left and right handwheels counterclockwise at the same time to increase the distance.   As you can see, this video shows how to coat the anode electrode sheet of a Li-ion battery by a simple coater. The raw materials of the anode slurry mainly include active materials, conductive agents, binders and solvents. Common anode active materials include graphite, silicon anode, LTO and other materials. In the video, we use graphite anode material. Conductive agents are used to improve the conductivity of slurries and electrodes, such as carbon black, graphene and carbon nanotubes. Binders are used to bind the active material and conductive agent together and adhere them to the current collector, and we used styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) and carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC). The solvent is used to dissolve the binder and adjust the viscosity of the slurry, and the anode generally uses deionized water.
