Wow…monster trucks when they were still actual trucks. Now they’re just roll cages with fiberglass shells. I can watch these vids all day

I’m 50 years old. I absolutely remember watching these races when I was a kid and just loved it. Watching this footage now and the best part about it is seeing monster trucks when they were still trucks.

What a great compilation of videos covering the history of the sport and Bigfoot! I remember seeing some of these beast in the parades downtown St.Louis. Looking back, I wish my parents would have taken me to some of the monster truck events at Busch stadium. It just wasn't their thing, unfortunately. I guess that's why I like watching videos like this. I get to see what I missed as a kid in the 80's!

this was also the last years for leaf-springs for the older and underfunded trucks, everyone went with coil and coil-overs with the exception of Bigfoot that went with the Baja shocks that got him banned for a year? in '89
@cool38652 ай бұрын
the last of the golden years, when bigfoot changed the whole competion by using Baja shocks that allowed him to fly over the cars and then came out with the first fiberglass body (snake bite in '91). once everyone else started playing catchup to that, it pretty much ended the monster truck racing that we all knew and loved

I'm confused, at the start of the video it showing a compilation of trucks going up hills and driving through mud and shit Where did they come from because I remember seeing them in full. Aren't they ment to be on the same video or are they from a different video?
