My brand new figure skates are *excruciating* and everyone I ask has a different opinion of why. It’s so frustrating because I almost never have problems with shoes! I can walk for hours in heels and my feet just feel a little tired, or maybe get a blister or two, but 15 minutes in my skates and I have to take them off to massage my arch while crying. I’m starting to even have pain when I’m not skating.

To be even more confusing, the 'weight' of yarn that's a medium thickness is ALSO called 'worsted' as opposed to DK for a slightly less thick yarn and 'aran' for a slightly thicker yarn-although 'aran' was also historically a STYLE of knitted sweater !

The whole project is a marvel and I knew watching all the videos that you did a lot of research, but hearing the explanation about all of it and the huge scope of research, it’s astounding. You pulled off something so amazing in such a short time frame is just incredible. I am in awe and so happy I got to see it

As a dutchie this made me look back at the photos from the board my parents put up after I was born. It had no gendered stuff on it, it was just my name with some cute cartoonbaby's around it. ❤ it's really funny getting to see other people's babynames on their front lawn lol. Also after my birth they had pink sprinkles on biscuits, like most people do after the birth of a girl. We might have originated the gender reveal thing, but it was very basic lol

You know what the worst part of gendered baby clothing is? That more than once my dino loving toddler girl has been met with "oh your son is so cute, mine loves dinosaurs, too!" So like... maybe we don't need to gender objects or jobs or patterns, either. My baby boy doesn’t NEED to wear trucks and sports and dinosaurs. And my baby girl doesn't need to wear dresses and lace and pink. Some days she wears a sparkle tutu over dinosaur pants. Most days, she just wears whatever makes her happy, which happens to be a spider man shirt. And dont get me started on the sexualization of baby clothes. Girls dont need infant bathing suits with cutouts, they need a full coverage suit for sun protection. And their shorts can and should be equal length to boys. I agree with the more neutral baby clothes needing to come back!!

I wear suits daily, and even though I have now switched to classic fit or wide trousers, I have a problem with leg sweat. I wash my trousers in the bathtub using a rinsing process with cold water. I then gently wring them out and hang dry. They require an astounding amount of pressing, but it is SOOOOO much better than dry cleaning. I never dry clean my clothes.
