Howdy, name’s Dylan! Just a guy with a passion of trains, who likes to share his hobby with others. Here on my channel you’ll see railfan videos from my home state of Louisiana and beyond, occasional Trainz Simulator videos, model railroading, and much more. Yeah, as the video would state, it would seem that the 80s and 90s would’ve been a good time to be a railroad enthusiast but I wonder if the 70s would’ve been interesting because that was Amtrak’s rainbow era and the same point in time that Conrail would’ve been forming and because of both of those things you would’ve had quite a variety in Locomotives, freight, cars and passenger cars of different previous owners and paint schemes. Plus you had stuff like the American freedom train and bicentennial units
If I was in the 90s or 80s I would definitely be railfanning in Texas or California UP and SP and ATSF and BN and Conrail but I was born in 2005 Feb 14 I railfan UP BNSF and CPKC
This was a great history and narration, you definitely should have more subscribers with the amount of effort you put into this, and it sure made a nice twist to seeing the same spots I caught 2816 from. I was the guy who was with Railfan Jordan and Traindeer Productions, by the way.
@@chartreuserailfanning2230 oh okay, cool! And thank ya, really means a lot man! It was definitely a lot of fun making it for sure.
Good stuff Dylan, this will definitely be an experience me, you, and many other railfans will never forget!

@@railfanjordan8141 couldn’t done it without your help bro! Appreciate it! 🤙🏽
Great video, once again like the music choices and footage you took of the Empress. I sure wish I got to see her for myself, but I've been busy with college, work, and the book I'm working on. Still, I'm sure 2816 will return to America again in the future seeing how this run was another great factor to add to her history. Not sure when that next opportunity will come, but I'll do whatever I can to see my third favorite CP engine in person.
@@evanf1293 thank you! I appreciate it! Hopefully you can get that opportunity again next time they’ll run another excursion with her. I got a good feeling they will do another tour like this again. Maybe not all the way to Mexico (which we all know how that ended up), but at least end in Texas. Until then, we’ll just have to wait and see man.
@@DylanRailVids04 Mhm. I really hope one of them can be in Minnesota as I have family there and during my last visit, I found a bridge that she traveled over her previous visits to the US (and her recent one) which 261 had gone over numerous times in excursion service too.
Nice Catch
Great catch, greeting from dylan of the other half of the earth!
@@srrrb5953 appreciate it man!

You got me at the end next to the car in the Liberty shot 🤣 cant wait to see your footage next!
Gotta love it when I get my best friends in my shots 😂 Appreciate it bro!
Nice trailer pecker, cant wait
I approve the music you used as I know exactly where it's from.
Yup! I figured it would be a good fit for 2816 lol Glad you enjoyed it man!
@@DylanRailVids04 Despite what some people say about the movie that music comes from, I have a soft spot for it, and it's also where my all-time favorite song originates from.
@@evanf1293 I totally agree with ya there. I still watch the Planes movies to this day mainly because of the soundtracks alone
@@DylanRailVids04 I myself also can relate to Dusty in many ways.
