  That’s how they ruined. The cross was by changing the name changing the owner changing the place where they raced redoing it put a DJ over the starting gate, call it something stupid, blah blah blah they ruined the cross. It certainly was not the road to Supercross

  This brings back lots of good memories. The run up the hill was very fast on the old track! Back in the day, you could ride a pit bike all the way around the track on the spectator side of the fence and nobody would give you any crap. Sure do miss that!

  What caused Bergamonti's crash? Did he lock the front wheel up under hard braking in the rain and the front end washed out from under him? He did not appear to strike anything like a pole or wall that would have caused his death from a sudden stop.

  Reverse gear shift, very common, stops your foot being caught under the peg while upshifting in a corner....
