  この動画を見るまでは“Clair de Lune”をハープ用に簡略化された編曲だろうと思っていたところ、Pianoバージョンと変わらない極めて忠実な編曲だったこと、こんなにも表現力豊かで気品高い万能な楽器だったんだと知りました。演奏者の曲の捉え方も素晴らしく、この動画は間違いなく名演奏です。

  I got a chance to going his concert in Japan.I had biggest mistake that my cell phone alarm beep during he plays this Moldau. . . I apologized him soooooo much after his concert.He joked around about that BUT I still wanna kill myself even 4 years past or I will never forget well, I should remember it forever. 本当にごめんなさい…… 私は最低な人間です。

  Wondrous. I hate people hacking in the background of recordings. Quit the ciggies or stay away from concerts if you're sick! Ick and annoying..... Detracts from the musician.

  I listened to harp renditions of Clair de Lune by Xavier and another harpist back to back. I noticed how the other harpist was just plucking the notes whereas Xavier's rendition has so much more feeling that he put into it. It's amazing how the same piece on the same instrument can have such a stark difference depending on who's playing it. Xavier is certainly within my top 3 harpists.

  I like the emotions in this version. I did not know that the harp can move while being played :) The harp player is also handsome.

  Kevin zz you don't take the harp apart, it simply has a case that fits around it with 4 parts for each bit of the harp, also most estate cars fit the harp in the boot but if travelling with an orchestra or abroad you can put it in a flight case which is a hard case held tightly shut and stops any pressure from damaging the strings as they are quite expensive! It's a lovely instrument all together creating majestical sounds and moods if that makes sense. Sorry this was long winded
