Kido Pham was in the news not too long ago for “purchasing” a bunch of dental clinics and then refusing to actually pay for them lol…I remember back in the day when they talked about him being a dental clinic owner. I guess he gambled away all his earnings

Man Ted Forest was such a big name player who made many final tables back in the day…unfortunately he went broke and found himself in legal trouble cutting some bad checks. He owed the Wynn hundreds of thousands 😬

I’ve played with a lot of Viet players and they love to chase any draws like gunshots and 3 flushes all the way to the river lol. Seen lots of massive pots won that way as well

Ah the good ole days. This was during a time when most poker players were playing very reserved and ABC poker…the guys who played aggressive could get players to fold or felted all the way to the final table

Past or present, I don't get Jake's play. Tank folding bad hands pre like he needs tv time to stay alive. Does a bad shove with rags, won't see a flop with a pocket pair getting a good price. Van Patten saying he's a regular in LA cash games is perplexing.

Watching old poker games is a fascinating glimpse into how things have changed. You'd rarely see the two biggest chipstacks at a final table battle it out now. Certainly not when one of them is a "pro".

27:15 - one of the biggest tells in the history of televised poker..... Very confidently says "I'm going to raise", sits up in his chair, readjusts himself, and then announces the value of the raise. Looks way too comfortable
