He is real - have known him over 40 years (1st week at Uni). I assume the medals are real, he served in Iraq and a few other interesting places. He is not the world's most natural performer though, I have to say... he's really good when he is intereviewed live about SSAFA though. He is also thinner than he was 40 years ago (lucky bas***d) and just as fit ... I'd see him in the bar at college and ask him what he'd been doing today and he'd say "oh, I thought I would do a marathon..." that was in the days when nobody did marathons!

I have a proof coin. In a case I do not know if it really is the signature of Princess Diana. but it comes with a signature on the case where this coin comes from. along with her ex-husband, Prince Charles at that time.

My question, why did it take 4yrs to get a sovereign of her image minted. BTW, I know I have a few of 1957, I will check how many and now I am curious to see a previous un-noticed difference. I did have 3, my lack of knowledge has let one go on a swap out, maybe because I had the three. HM is still uncrowned in 1967

1.5 million of British penny's 1953 coins was made with a mistake another term you may understand as a cock up meaning mistake on the 1953 British penny's unfortunately it was too late to order them back so 100 1954 British pennies were made 100 percent majority of them were called back and melted down except the magnificent seven that I have 1954 British penny's maybe the Royal Museum have one maybe the Royal Mint has one so it was alleged that they have one
