Stephen “Night Train 357” Wilkes is a creative emcee that enjoys infusing wordplay with unique subject matter not often touched upon in the Hip-Hop community. Night Train 357 (Train) is the representative for the everyman. Not hood, nor rich - he’s in the middle, trying to make it through this world like everyone else. Train began his career as an emcee while studying at the Corcoran College of Art + Design, Washington DC. It started as an attempt to find another way to express his creativity during a difficult time in his life. The death of his father (The original Night Train 357, his namesake and a talented writer and bass guitarist) toppled with the stress from home, work and school forced him to find a new outlet for creative expression.
