  There's an option in the menu ingame to retrigger all cutscenes from the beginning, hence the single music stream.

  You mean the letter? Some of the sequences are optional, you have to interact with an item. In this case, the letter on Gognitti's desk.

  The graphic novels in Max Payne 1 are great. I recently played Max Payne 3... great shooting mechanics... but the story is really bad. Max's dialogue in the third game betrays a lack of original thought.

  ​@MuseBySecrecy nah. The gameplay is really good, but the story lacks some execution. The outline of the plot itself is good, just gets really convoluted and the 'everyone at the start was involved somehow' trope doesn't always work the best.

  I understood how dark, graphic and traumatic the game was only when I was 23. I used to play this game in my childhood, thinking, it was just a murder case, where the victim is Max's wife and children. Damn, what a haunting game.

  Bet nobody knows Alan Wake and his wife Alice Wake lives in the building right nextdoor to max Paynes police HQ connecting them together with Quantum break and Control but you won't really understand the connection until Control oh and max Paynes name is ( you'll have to research who max is in Control.

  Great video Me being nitpicky: A good idea would have been to include the soundbites from in-game cut scenes. Examples "Michelle, honey, anybody home", (baby room) *lullaby playing* "no, no, please god no", and "oh god, oh no, please michelle; oh babe" Personal preference. Great video. Thank you.

  Max Payne is an amazing game. I remember when I played it back in the day, those graphic novels to tell the story were so poeticly written and unique and the voice-acting was good too🖋😃👌. An amazing way of story-telling in a noire game🌨🌃👏

  Origins has the best bosses/enemy types imo. Combat feels most polished in Knight but City still has the best boss in Mr Freeze.
