Hi @cre8tivity06, the side by sides were expensive but worth the experience. This was in June of 2021 so prices may have increased but I'm thinking it was around $700 for the whole day for one of the best machines they had. ***You did have to place a large deposit on your credit card***. All that aside, it was an easy process and I highly recommend it. This was our first time in Moab and I had watched Hurrah Pass and Chicken Corners videos on KZread and decided that it was within our wheelhouse to do. Rock Creek was a torrent coming down the mountain outside Red Lodge. We almost stayed in Red Lodge, but wanted to get closer to the airport in Bozeman. It was a spectacular drive. just didn't know it was a once in 500 year rain event. Didn't seem like it rained that much, but with so much slushy snow the rain melted it and caused all the flooding. I was on that road, way back in the summer of 1970. There was so much traffic coming out of, and going into Yellowstone NP. It was bumper to bumper at 25 miles per hour in both directions. The road was primitive compared to today's standards, but it's been vastly improved since then. The roadway wasn't anywhere near as wide as it is now. The guardrails were almost right on the white line and they were banged up from the snow plows. Those flimsy old guardrails were all that kept you from going over the edge of a huge drop off. Some were hundreds of feet down. Some of those drops seemed almost straight down. I was just a young kid so it seemed pretty scary at the time. Especially when my dad would jerk the wheel to the right and scare the heck out of my mom, and me and my brothers. Ah yes, memories! LOL!
