    Hello there, this is the Highway Ghost speaking. I wanted to say hello and thanks for checking out the video and for the kind comment. I thought this was a heart breaker of a story as well, but also very fascinating as a part of both tragic and haunted urban legend history. Savannah is an amazing beautiful town hidden in a realm of the supernatural. For more similar stuff, then check out my Haunted Savannah playlist, Paranormal and Occult playlist and my paranormal evidence footage in the Orb Highway (My Haunted Property) playlist. I also recently added the Odd Shadows podcast here as well, plus all the strange travels and weird stuff I document along the way. Tons to watch and I hope you enjoy it. Thanks again for watching the Highway Ghost.

    Hello there, this is the Highway Ghost speaking. You've heard of the Invisible Man, well, he's got the invisible band... Haha! That's what I was wondering when he went on, then he mentioned it and I was like oh yeah. In all the videos he's got a couple others jamming, but he played the show solo. We hung out for a minute and he was a super cool guy and a amazing guitarist. Hope you enjoyed the ghoul rock, it's surf rock with a monster twist. Join the ride for more strange travels. Thanks for watching..... HG

    Hello there, Highway Ghost speaking. I wanted to say hello and thanks for checking out the channel. As a lifelong fan of the "original" Crow movie and of course the iconic comic that started it all, I was so honored to meet J.O. Barr and had very little time to speak with him given it was a very busy convention. But about your question, I'm thinking it was around $40 for an autograph either way, but it might be more. I know I met him and Thom Mathews from The Return of the Living Dead and I was broke after getting my films signed, so yeah the cost has gone out the roof for signatures. I have an entire playlist of Famous People I've Met and some I even couldn't afford the past few cons. You pay $50 in gas to drive two states of so, then $200 for hotel, then $25 to $50 for tickets then get there and they charge $40 to $100 an autograph, even with your own item and photos are extra even with cellphones, then I don't get a cent for doing all these videos after being monetized by KZread for almost 6 months. Is it really worth it anymore? But either way I love meeting my childhood icons and collecting as much as I can afford and seeing all to see at the conventions. Hope you join the ride and check out more footage. There's a lot to see and more to come. Thanks for watching the Highway Ghost. Hope this helps. "It can't rain all the time"......

    I visited Alcatraz East in Gatlinburg, TN, where they had some of Gacy's things on display, and I got physically sick and had to leave. I tried to read a book about him once, and felt the same way. I am not sure how anyone could carry around a Gacy backpack, but to each his own. Thanks for the video. It was a good one!!

    Hello there, this is the Highway Ghost speaking. I wanted to say hello and thanks for checking out the video. This was an amazing event and a spooky one as well. Weird that you mentioned the feelings you have when in the area of these types of things. I've had that same feeling. Right after this event I felt super sick and when I got home I was down for several days with a feeling of fatigue and weakness like a strange unexplained exhaustion, but no symptoms of any dehydration, virus or flu. Just a weird tiredness. I've also seen the museum in Pigeon Forge you went to and they have some strong vibe items as well. I collect haunted and cursed relics as well and some have made me very weird feeling for the first few weeks of owning them, but then it levels out. I plan to make some more videos about my haunted and dark objects when I get things leveled out from moving and all that, but for more from this event and true crime related stuff, visit my Serial Killers and True Crime playlist or the other stuff in their own playlists. I cover a wide range of weird. I recently added a Odd Shadows Podcast to the channel also. Hope you have a great summer and join the channel for updates. There's always something strange going on here. HG

    Hello there, this is the Highway Ghost speaking. I wanted to say hello and thanks for checking out the video and I'm sure William Ragsdale "Charley Brewster" would dig the comment. Fright Night is among those timeless classic horror films from the 80s that I'll always cherish as a part of my 5 for 5 VHS rental night memories added to my collection of films in life. It was also one of those weird monster movies and horror films that helped pave the way for so many people. Truly a great guy and a horror legend and I'm so glad for the time we had to chat during this huge event. Pumpkinhead is one of my most favorite horror movies and I think that compared to other stuff it's too underrated. That film is awesome, but it came out in the great era of Freddy and Jason stuff that held the spotlight for decades and it kinda got swept under the rug but remains a true classic for the fans of all classic horror stuff. I've got an entire playlist of All Things Horror and also more weird travels and expos and events similar, so I hope you enjoy those videos as well and join the ride for updates on all my latest projects and strange travels. Not all of the band members lived at the house, but it was a hang out space for all of them and their roadies. I believe that Gregg moved out in '71, when he and Berry's sister split up. They had been an item for a while. So, Cher never lived there with Gregg, but she did live for a time at the house that he later bought in the area. Duane also moved out in '71, when he took up with Dixie. The Oakleys remained in the house, but, of course, Berry died in '72 as the result of a motorcycle accident. His widow was forced to give up the place the following year, when the landlord wouldn't renew the lease.

    Hello there, Highway Ghost speaking. Just saying thanks for checking out the video and for the short history lesson on the residents of this awesome rock-n-roll location. Last time I was there the owners or the musical society had purchased the land next to this spot and was adding a venue area for outdoor shows and hopefully Allman Brothers events relating to their legacy. I have a video from their grave in my famous music locations playlist if you'd like to check it out. There's truly no telling who walked among the walls of this house and lived there on and off during that time frame. Glad that it's there for us fans to remember them. Thanks for watching.... HG

    How would those human remains get there looks like someone had scattered the urn of remains of a person

  • @HighwayGhost
    @HighwayGhost21 күн бұрын

    Hello there, Highway Ghost speaking. I wanted to say hello and thanks for checking out the video. As far as I could tell the cremains were tossed through the fence as an attempt to scatter them onto Duane Allmans grave, but they failed miserably. If it was close friends or family then the cemetery staff would've allowed them to spread the ashes where they needed and would've unlocked the gate for them. It must've been some random person that had to fulfill someone's wishes no matter what. The reason the fence is there in the first place is the amount of late-night parties and unusual events that have taken place there since Duane was buried. Sad that you're so famous that this type of stuff happens. On a lighter note check out my video from the Allman Brothers Big House Museum in Macon, GA located in my Famous Music Locations playlist, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Hello there, this is the Highway Ghost speaking. About the haunting. I've been going to this store up until it closed. Currently Jim is setting up his booth at horror themed expos and events, but the last video update I did while filming there next to the mummy of a real person and a haunted doll I accidentally captured a EVP of a spirit speaking as plan as day. Hello again. I wish I could live in Savannah in a big old spooky house on Bull Street or Abercorn. The whole historic district is beautiful and the days on the squares and River Street are so much fun. I also really loved visiting Beaufort, SC and Saint Helena Island, SC, both were very cool spots. I actually caught a ghost speaking to me out there one time while doing a video at Saint Helena's Chapel of Ease one day. I didn't hear it at the moment, but I heard the EVP while editing later. It's super creepy and as plain as day. That video's called "Ghostly Voice Captured at Saint Helena Chapel of Ease Ruins" and is located in my Paranormal and Occult playlist if you have the chance take a listen. There's a timestamp for the clip in the description for quick replay as well. It sounds like the ghost is saying "Hey you!". Spooky stuff. Anyway, thanks for watching and have a safe and fun summer. Hello there, this is the Highway Ghost speaking. I just wanted to say hello back and thanks for the kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed the video and hope you find my other work worthy of a watch as well. There's a lot to see and there's always new stuff on the way, as well as my podcast and even yesterdays 8mm film projects. I think you'd enjoy my video called "Illumine Night Event at Oakland Cemetery (Art Music & Lights)". It was a very fun and colorful cemetery event unlike any other I've been too. There's so much here in their own playlists that you'll never get bored I hope. Anyway, thanks for watching and join the ride for the more fun and updates on all my strange travels. HG

    Hey Moon Man, good to here from you. Dingler Fest was fun and I've known Charlie Dingler and the many folk artists of the area for many years. We had a blast even if it was pouring the rain all day. My video Dingler Fest 2024 is getting some attention since Charlie shared it. I saw Christy there and she invited me to come see here in SC and she remembers you stopping by to do a video. Everyone's super cool at Dingler Fest and you should go one year. I just got back from Alabama from hanging out with Butch Anthony and still got a few videos to finish putting out and got another trip planned very soon as well. Saw that you stopped by to see the Allman Brothers Graves, haven't been to see Dickey Betts grave, but that's on my list. Anyway, good hearing from you man and safe travels. HG

    Yeah these folks have become like friends and family to me. You need to go visit my buddy Sam G in Clarkesville and tour SamG Land. He's a good friend of mine as well as Eric Legge and even Butch Anthony which has become super famous across the world nowadays. I know Sam and Eric more, but I get invited over to Butch's place ever now and then. I was just down there visiting and filming a few days ago, don't know if you got to check out all that stuff that Butch Anthony has created through the years, but he's made some amazing art and road side attractions in Alabama and Georgia. I'm planning a fun trip soon and when I get the time we'll plan a day to hangout when we can. I'm still doing my podcast but haven't had time much to record being that I do these videos 90% of my free time and now I'm starting another job and still doing the photography and art for the videos as well, so where's the time to relax these days. Anyway, hope you have a great summer and have fun out there man. Hope to see you on down the road. You're a friend of the Highway Ghost.

I'm a huge fan as well and have many fond memories involving his amazing music. Don't know if you've seen my other Hank related videos, but I've got those located in my Famous Music Locations playlist along with many other cool stops. I went to his grave a few times and also around all the spots in Montgomery, Alabama and plan to do more when I'm in the areas. I recommend you also read After the Garden of Good and Evil! The more you research the more you understand how and why the tragedy of Danny Hanson happened. It wasn’t all Jim William’s fault. Danny had been plagued his whole life with aggression, rage, and assaulting others including his own mother and girlfriend. He seemed to be in trouble with the law on a regular basis. It’s said he also assaulted Jim who was a much older man. Danny is what we’d call today as entitled. Even though Jim did try to help him, Danny didn’t seem to appreciate anything anyone did. Of course, drugs and alcohol was part of Danny’s issues along with mental illness that wasn’t helped although his mother and law enforcement tried. I’m sure the tour people don’t tell you all because it’s easier to tell weird tales but the real story is quite 0:02 enough to keep you interested! I got mine from a used book store!!

    Sounds like an interesting book and if I see one I'll get a copy to read. I never take tours of places like this that are overpriced and most of the time covering up what really happened, but either way and besides the house has an undeniable dark past filled with tragic events and strange happenings like all of Savannah. I've had numerous paranormal encounters in that town as well as across the country and documented it on film and in recordings. Mercer House is an interesting story and the Midnight book was probably only a scratch on the map to what really happened. Jim liked to party and Danny did too and things got outta control and when people refuse help they can't and won't change, so things like this happen. It's America where freedom leads to tragedy at a higher rate than most would like to believe while they try and sweep it under the rug of the rich and leave the rest for the media and corrupt businesses to profit from. Sad but true. Check out my video I did called the "Axe Murders of Gribble House in Savannah Georgia", it's an old murder that was shocking to the area many years ago and has quite an interesting story to say the least. It's located in my "Serial Killers and True Crime" playlist here at the channel.

    Thank you so much for doing this video! I'm headed down to the Ringling next month to see the new Tibbals Circus Exhibit, and now I have to find a way to see this place. Your stories were great - especially the one about sneaking into the tent and seeing the clowns training the wiener dogs to dance. We have a wiener dog, and try as I might, she has yet to learn one trick! The saddest thing about this place is that you seem to be the only person there. Is that true? And if you're interested in circus history, you might think about checking out the Circus Historical Society. I joined a couple of years ago, and it's been really fascinating. Anyway, I'm subscribing to your channel, and looking forward to checking out all your other vids. PS - I drove past those signs for 'The Thing' in the Arizona desert so many times without stopping - glad to hear you stopped in!

    Hello there, this is the Highway Ghost speaking. I just read your comment and wanted to say hello and thank you so much for the kind words and I'm also very glad you enjoyed my video and subscribed. This place was amazing and was in the heart of Gibtown. Sadly I was one of four folks visiting that day, but maybe it was during off season. I wanted to see whats left of the showman town and this was the best collection I've seen so far. Across the river I did another video in actual Gibsonton, Florida "Gibtown" at The Fish Camp of Al and Jeannie Tomaini, but sadly someone had set the last little bunk house on fire a couple nights before I had the chance to see it. The monument is still out there and the "World's Strangest Couple" is buried not far as well, I did a video there too. I have an entire playlist dedicated to sideshow and bizarre acts, as well as oddities and roadside attractions that I'm sure you'll love. As you can tell I'm a big fan of this stuff and have to document it as much as possible and have made friends with some amazing show folks. If you're ever passing through Augusta, Georgia then you'll love my friend's place called Pexcho's American Dime Museum (by appointment). I have a video from my first museum tour and another with Peter Excho talking about the history of dime museums, PT Barnum and sideshow, and recently I filmed his amazingly huge event called the Grand Reveal of the World's 1st 2 Headed T-Rex & Sideshow Festival. That was a 7 hour sideshow night. I also got to hangout with my famous showman friends Red Stuart and Erik Sprague the Lizardman (Ripley's guy), and did videos of their shows as well. There's also some famous sideshow performer graves in the area you might wanna visit and they're in the playlist as well. Funny how you liked the wiener dog story from my childhood. It's always gonna be one of my most cherished memories that I still don't know how I remember. I guess it left an imprint in my mind and turned me onto the circus life. I plan on opening a roadside museum of my collection of oddities one day and you'll be invited. Anyway, thanks for the support and may all your days be circus days and we'll see you on down the road as the show folks always say. Have a fun, safe and great summer from the Highway Ghost.

    Thank you so much for writing back, and giving me so much information about other stuff to check out! I do wish this incredible museum was full of visitors. Problem is, it's only open on weekends, and of course my trip doesn't include a weekend in that area. I only found out about it because I just found a new FB page about sideshows - Pounce-Matics - that featured it. I have to ask if you've been to the House on the Rock in Wisconsin. I just went a couple of years ago, and I still can't get over how wild that place was! I was by myself and wandering around for hours. Last month, I finally got to see Rock City, which was also long overdue - those Fairy Tale Caverns were mesmerizing! Since you mentioned him, I've probably read 7 books about Barnum by now - he's one of my all time favorite characters. He has a lot to teach everyone about creating a world of their own, that's for sure! May all your days be circus days, too!

    Hello there, this is the Highway Ghost speaking. I wanted to say hi and thanks for checking out the channel and for the interesting comment. As a lifelong paranormal investigator I had a similar experience there and saw the lights coming at us like a car in the distance, but never seen it appear. It was very weird how you get pushed or rolled. I came in from the side where it was flat so my experience was a little different being that I wanted to be in the clear if a car came down the hill in the middle of the night. I also experienced this at a place in Florida called Spook Hill, I have an old 8mm film from that and need to add it to my Back in the Day Series playlist here. I also have a haunted piece of land in NC mountains where I live and capture tons of weird and creepy footage and share those in the Orb Highway playlist on here, plus much more strange stuff.
