How did you get the range to go against the wall. Our gas/propane valve keeps it from going flush against the wall. Can you show behind the stove?

@@SMTortorella so we actually have that same problem. It just so happened that we decided to do counter top matching quartz up the wall as a backsplash. That 1.5in thick quartz sticks off the wall and covers the gap from not being able to push the stove all the way back. You may need to have your gas valve re positioned to get it to slide all the way back

Worst refrigerator I have ever owned. My GE Cafe refrigerator will only cool from 41-51 degrees. GE does not care and will do anything to not replace your product. Buyer beware. Also GE appliances is now owed by company in China.

Everything but the range (36" Professional Duel Fuel Range Model C2Y366P2T1S1) has been easy to connect to WIFI and add to our account. I've researched countless videos, etc. with no luck in getting the range added. The manual, etc. all say this range has built in WIFI. I follow the instructions in the app to add an appliance with no luck. What am I missing??

I work for AT&T. There's a way to get an unlimited hotspot for under $35 a month with no discounts. Cheaper still if they have military/first responder/teacher discount. It involves a phantom IMEI number, and a new line added on Premium. Not every AT&T employee knows about it, because it's not exactly policy. But it works.

Hi there, I have this same exact set-up and it still works, but I wanted to get a back up nighthawk router in case the one I have goes down. I bought the new nighthawk MR6500 and I couldn't change the imei# errors kept coming up after it stated that the test was successful and they took my credit. I think it just doesn't work with the newer models, do you happen to know? I might just go back and by the same model in your video. :)

It uses tablets and/or powder. The refill notification is for the JETDRY auto dispenser. Usually needs re-filled once a month if running a load every day/other day

We have had the Cafe 36" gas range for over a year now and really enjoy it. Our problem is that there is no clock on the digital screen. A tech has been out twice and told me both times that there is no clock feature for this range. I see you have a clock display. I watched your original review and you said it took a while for the clock to show on your range. Now that your clock is displayed how do you control it? Are the controls on the oven? The app? Both?

Do you have the app downloaded? There should be a firmware update that you can do which will place the clock on the screen. Since the stove will need to be connected to your home internet, you don’t need to worry about updating the clock as it does it automatically for things like daylight savings

We don’t find this fridge to make any noise at all except when it’s filling the ice trays with water, but you’d have to be pretty close to it to hear it and only last about 5~6 seconds. Hope that helps!

I can honestly say it has been 100% worth it. We thought we were nuts for spending so much on these appliances that hadn’t had much of a track record but we are very glad we did. They have really exceeded our expectations. I’m glad these videos helped. The only reason I felt compelled to make them bc I always go to KZread before a big purchase and there was so little information on the cafe appliances. Its pronounced sha- bas. Its a mode for relogious jews who arent allowed to handle appliances between sundown friday until sundown saturday. The appliances operate automatically for them.

Great video! For some reason when I login to DC through my home Wi-Fi it connects to the server ok, but then I plug in the device to the computer (change the settings) then it seems like it stops using my home Wi-Fi and will not connect with the DC server unless I unplug the hotspot.

It's complicated but Shabbos it the same as Shabbat. Sabbath Mode allows you to open and close the refrigerator or freezer doors without activating interior lights, sounds or other controls. While your fridge is in Sabbath Mode, water filter status lights are disabled and temperatures cannot be adjusted. I am a Jew and didn't know how it related to a fridge. Mostly Orthodox Jews would use this feature.

We haven't had any problems cleaning or keeping them clean. The matte surface really does an excellent job hiding finger prints as well. They stay way cleaner looking than traditional stainless steel appliances

I don’t comment on videos but because I am a huge Cafe brand fan I watched your video. Very in-depth review of the products you have. I have the same fridge , the double oven with gas, and the microwave. We just remodeled our kitchen and I added the double drawer dishwasher, toaster oven and the coffee drip machine. I have been made whole. The appliances are a whole conversation with my guests. They are not only gorgeous but worked well, no problem 2 years in.

This hit me right in the feels. My son was born via c section almost a full year ago (next month). He was almost 2.5 weeks late though. After being induced and trying so many different things I stopped dilating at 6cm and the high dose of pitocin they had me on was bringing on fast contractions with no break. It was affecting my son’s heart rate and they told me the best thing they could do at that point for the safety of my son and my own health was a c section. So after three whole days of labor we finally welcomed our son at 12:03 am. And he was perfectly healthy and complained about being taken out of mommy’s warm belly up until they put him on me. He fell asleep while they stitched me up. It was hard but I would do it again. I’m hoping to give him a sibling in the future 😊
