I have two Mango Trees that I started from seeds. They are in pots now. I want to plant them in the ground. But, I think they would freeze doing the winter months. Last winter I brought them inside doing the cold months. Do you know how long it takes to produce fruits.

Grow grow mango😂,I love it. Thanks for sharing your tropical garden. It's so satisfying to see this being from the Caribbean but living in the U.S. My goal is to be able to return and live this type of lifestyle in my homeland.

You can compost those chickens in your compost pile , don’t just bury them randomly in the ground.. they will break down in compost and provide nutrients

You also need to bury a 2ft wide section of fencing chicken wire or chain link around the bottom of your coops to prevent predators from digging under the fence to get inside your coops ..

That is a great way to use soapy water on wasps!

Soap is very effective at killing insects, when it becomes necessary. I have a different way of making my concoction. I chose a pot and put in about 30 ounces of water. I heat it up gradually and add in 2 teaspoons of borax. I stir it in, then add some grease-cutting dish soap. Continue to stir gently until the water becomes about 120 degrees F. Now slowly pour your mixture through a funnel into your container. The borax has an irritating effect and will help to kill and prevent any eggs from maturing. You can also use this mixture on anthills.

Dish soap is an oil-like substance that coats the bugs and suffocates them quickly ! Surfactants added to the soap helps the soaps combine with water easily. A spray bottle can help spread the soap mixture widely to kill all sorts of insects.

I've got a huge paper wasp nest on my house. They're really territorial & btw one wasp can sting many times. I tried to be nice, but they've got to go... I'm going to try this! I've got a family of endangered Box Turtles, and other good critters around here somewhere & this will keep them safe! Thanks! (I'll be back for the Red Fire Ants !)
