I didn't know any of those clips @ the end. My taste in films is not necessarily mainstream. You missed one of my fav death movies: Dead Man with Johnny Depp & Gary Farmer. I am in the demographic, 71 this week, losing childhood friends in ever increasing numbers. That saddens me, yet I still don't share the societal fear of Death. Being Pagan my belief structure is different. Being raised in an indigenous tradition, when my sack of meat (as it was so inelegantly described) no longer allows me to be a contributing member of my family/community, I will be ready to journey on. If the destination proves to be a mystery so be it. I look forward to watching the clips in the description later. Right now, during a heat wave, I have gardens & farm animals to attend to before it gets brutally hot. Namaste death ladies.

Hi. I recreate movie scenes as a hobby. Recently, I visited the crash site of the Jaguar hearse from the movie Harold and Maude. It's in the town where I live, and locals told me that the car was left there at the end of filming. Anyway, I trekked down there (It's really hard to get down!), and took many clear photos of rusted car parts. This is my attempt to start piecing the puzzle and find out if the parts do belong to the '65 Jaguar. If anyone can help, that'd be great. I can share my pics on FB Messanger or by text, or wherever else is convenient. Thanks in advance!

My husband was born and raised in Antlers, which is about 30 miles north of Hugo. He knew of this cemetery and he brought me here in the late 1990s when we had gone up to visit his mom. It's an amazing place. Unique plaques and statues, and a real history of a bye gone era. There is also one up in Forest Park Illinois, Woodlawn Cemetery, where the Showman's Rest contains the graves of performers who were on a circus train that carried the Hagenbeck-Wallace circus in 1918. A troop train plowed into the stationary circus train, killing 86 of the 400 performers on the train. Most were unidentifiable due to the fire that started from the crash. If you are interested in that video, it's on Faces of the Forgotten KZread channel under the title 1918 CIRCUS TRAIN-WRECK THAT KILLED 86 Performers & Roustabouts - Showmans Rest at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Dear Gail, A Mass card is a card given to the family of the deceased to let them know that a Catholic (or other mourner) has arranged for / Requested a Catholic priest to offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass for the repose of the soul of the deceased. This life is not all there is. Hope that helps. PS What the Orthodox father described are the cards made up by the funeral parlor with sacred images and prayers to God for the deceased to be given to mourners to remind them to pray for the dead.

How can you afford that kind of machine? Is the state subsidy apply? If it does that means tax payers are paying for some of the cost. If not, what is the cost of one of this machines? Obviously there are many other expenses associated with this type of equipment. What off sets the cost? How many Brodie to make it profitable? Not free!

I remember standing in the foyer of the church as an eleven year old boy for my 19 year old brother's casket to be placed on the church truck. A very vivid memory as he died in an automobile accident and changed the course of life forever. I was fascinated by the sturdiness but smooth roll of the truck once the casket proceeded to roll down the aisle to the altar. Many friends and family in attendance. I felt two hands on my shoulders as the casket rolled by me. I looked up for my Dad but it was my Uncle Ted. Dad was somewhere, would be seen on weekends for a dozen years or so. The grief of losing his first born was too much to overcome and died at 59. Seems like yesterday.... I'm going on 63.
