I used to own the infamous X-Type, I gave in eventually and had it junked. Now, after watching your videos, I would love to get an XJ40 Sovereign - but I really love the size and styling of the X-Type. I want to stylize it similarly to how you've done so here with your XJ. I'm going to get another one and just have it as my "learning" Jag for self maintenance etc.. Having to take off an intake manifold just to change out ignition coils and spark plugs? Well, that is unfortunate.. But I have always been so passionate for all Jaguar cars. If you hear anyone beep at you in Auckland in a quick succession and see a thumbs up shortly after, it's probably me XD

Oh I refuse to drive in Auckland 🤣😉 yeah that is unfortunate and frustrating and i understand what you are saying!! But in my opinion I think you should give a xj a chance! Also keep in mine xj ain’t as big as they look!! My one is only 3inches longer then a falcon!

The blue is actually quite common here! Can grab a set of blue interior for $500 nzd or 250 pounds 🤣 Oh interesting! It may have been but this car was imported right from new in 87 right to New Zealand! Never touched aussie!
I love a 94 4.0! Have a lot of the modern safety features and upgrades but still with that awesome 80s styling! What colour is your 40?
@@jimmyscars1337 Oh, that’s interesting! I’ve never seen a blue interior and I’ve owned 5 XJ40’s 🤔 I should have said “Australasia”, rather than Australia re the tinted glass. I think the same applied to cars heading to the USA. Mine has tinted windows, but not as dark. There are strict regulations re darkness of tints on front windows and windscreens here in the U.K. Too dark and you risk a £200 fine and 3 points on your licence. Cool that your 40 is an early one and my current one is one of the very last made. 👍🏻
@@jimmyscars1337 “Platinum ice”- light metallic blue with Saville grey interior. I have a short video on my channel.
@@newblackdog7827 bloody stunning!! 😍
LEEEEETTSS GOO !!!
What’s your thoughts bro you like the grill?? 💪💪
Keep up the good work brother ❤️
Thank you very much bro I appreciate it! :))
LOL, yes, underrated, but don't say anything! That's what keeps it not only exclusive among those "in the know" (you and myself among others), but the price ludicrously cheap. I have loved the design since I followed the car in spy photos testing in Arizona and Northern Ontario, Canada. I love angular 1970s / 1980s styling, hugs the road like a champ, and...well, why am I preaching to the choir?
Very true!!
Nice, nice, nice!
Thank you!! Make sure to check out my other vids! :)))
Love your enthusiasm. These cars are so cheap they are almost free. I ended up with X300 similar thing , how can you not love them
The amount of car for the money is insane!! Thank you!
And value for money you can’t bet it even compared to a x type, the x300 and x308 are a good start!! Still fairly simple to work on but you get all the modern features! Also keep in mine xj ain’t as big as they look!! My one is only 3inches longer then a falcon!
You can buy a 2.1 X-type - no need to remove an intake manifold when changing spark plugs, no need to maintain extra driveshafts and no transfer box. As for me, it's a good option.
@@jaguarrroman downside it’s front wheel drive instead of all wheel drive aye?
@@jaguarrroman by the way love your channel you do great work!!
@@jimmyscars1337 Thank you, I wish you good luck!
