  i think it's funny that people are complaining about the floaty controls but like I'm a Toon Link main in Smash Bros so the floaty controls flat out make it so i can actually play the game and i find that funny as hell

  The camera "not working" thing is something that would change cause of preference and resolution, like on ps4 if playing on a 64" vrs playing on a 16" the player would have to change it

  Okay, so for the review saying Mustache Girl is “woke”, I should point that it’s never explicitly stated that she even is trans. Not only that, but there have been numerous instances of cis women being able to grow facial hair, even as a kid.

  I found it almost unplayable until I found the camera setting too. It got better when I increased the field of view, but it didn't get good until I also inverted the zoom. I've never inverted camera controls before, so it was the last thing I thought of trying. It felt instantly intuitive and I stopped seeing the world from inside her head once I did though. I was really thinking bad things about Lakitu there for awhile.

  I've installed Yakuza judgement and Outlast 2 in both game I'm facing the same input errors like The left or right analogue is constantly pressed up hence charcter is always moving plus the inputs are calibrated a wrong like when I press X it take as r2 when I press r2 it takes it as select button.. i play Arkham knight and Mad max controller is working fine in them and I tried using Xoutput and 360Ce none of them worked on Judgement and Outlast to even I replaced the Config files still issue is persistent. Also tried updating driver.. I think its because game have some in built in put system which suck and can't be changed via Xout put 360ce I guess ? Anu suggestion? Currently I'm using a genric gamepade

  Half-life 2 is pretty boring. It's not as fun as people make it out to be. Doesn't look very impressive to me either. Im 40 so it's not "I'm too young to get it" either.

  You can compare this game with any other metroidvania other than Hollow Knight, and this game still sucks. The reviews have several good points. I already win this game in Hard Difficulty. And finish the game, just for completing it. Because i was very bored. The controls are really clumpsy. Trying to jump from a wall to another and ori goes up in the wall, dying to spikes. All the game is full of spikes or traps that mimetism with the backgound. Incluiding spikes in the front or background that damages you when you are in a a middle line. I die multiple times because i stepped in a spike that i didn't see. The combat is horrible, multiple times the best option is smash jump and fire at the same time. The big enemy that split in 2 smaller parts this same proccess 3 times for a total of 8 little sparks in the screen. The 3 direction attacks makes bad enemy interactions. The Boss chases are all try and error until you found the correct path. Etc, etc, etc.

  2:27 the camera can be annoying on controller, so that's why I play with keyboard and mouse bc I can control the camera easily with the mouse.

  "Many of these negative reviews seemed to miss the mark, not realizing that the game just isn't for them..." I can't see how this subtracts anything from these reviews. It's not like one's opinion is of lesser meaning just because they don't agree with the status quo. I for one left a "recommended" review for HL2 on steam for I think it is not a bad game, but I also find it to be probably the most overrated or overhyped game in history. And this is not just looking at it through the lens of modern gaming: I often hear HL2 "revolutionizing shooter games" and I really can't see where this statement is coming from. The original Far Cry came out half a year earlier in 2004 and I am really struggling to point out one thing from a shooter game perspective that HL2 did better.

  The game can be quite frustrating at times. If you go into it expecting a "normal" metroidvania, it might make you even more frustrated. I think this game is a platforming challenge first and foremost, closer in gameplay to rayman and celeste than super metroid or hollow knight.

  The only problem I have with the game is that I'm mad I can't beat one life. Some of the insta-deaths are very infuriating but, hey, I'm the guy who's still trying

  its beyond me why someone would watch someone read comments when they can go read said comments themselves. im here too i guess tho so bleh. I like HL2 as much as the next guy, but the riding is unreal. It feels like you just read comments and then say, "well ackshully, thats how valve intended it" without really seeing there perspective. theres no nuance. I feel if you are going to be this biased you should just remove the parts where you talk, or at least provide two perspectives so that there can be some sort of actual reflection.

  As someone who is more FPS enjoyer and isn't really into platformers especially collectathons cause It's tidious as hell with your time getting lower and lower as an adult I must say It's one of the kind game I actually like and enjoy. Over that there are some difficult sections of the game like the race I just said "fuck it" and installed Jotaro Kujo's Hat from Steam Workshop and za warudoed my way through the race which is really good part of this game like If you want to you can download items which can help you get through the game easier without putting in some effort to just flex on your friends how good you are at this game cause in the end nobody really cares. Sad that other platforms don't have such thing as Workshop.

  0:53 I had more issues with phase 1 of Mustache Girl than Toilet Of Doom, not that I haven't beaten the game at all or anything. It's Mustache Girls first attack I had trouble with, everything else was easier.

  same thing happened to me when i played hollow knight, I downloaded it played a bit and did not touch it until 4 years later i came back to it and had lots of fun and almost 112% the game

  3:37 Ironically, there is a Steam Workshop mod that deals with this exact issue, of course I can’t send the link to it here because of KZread auto hides comments with a link, but it’s called Cooldown Cancel Hats which adds all of the same hats you have just without a cooldown on them. This means if they would have got that workshop mod (if it existed at the time they made the review), they would either not have typed that review in the first place or add that they had to use a mod to do so

  Why dont use special weapon? Special weapons are for brawler style, its the style damage, you turn a hack and slash into soulslike.

  I do have to agree with the badge system being meh, like the hook shot should be part of the base move set because it’s mandatory for the later levels, mainly chapter 4, so while can have 3 badges at once, your really only gonna have 2. Also if you only have the hook shot badge, shorter hat cooldown badge, and the don’t bonk on walls badge there’s really no reason to experiment with other ones, after all why would I equip the swearing badge?the scooter badge? or the star beam badge when the 3 badge I mentioned before are way more useful and less situational.
